I think there are 10 spots in the US still and 3 in Mexico and 3 in Canada.
Will KC and Arrowhead make the cut?

https://www.espn.com/soccer/fifa-world- ... on-june-16
It'll be close. I think Arrowhead will make the final cut.

Locks (imo): Cowboy Stadium, Rose Bowl, Atlanta, Seattle, Nashville....i may be overlooking another lock or two.

I would not consider Nashville a lock. Nashville wants a new NFL stadium built by 2026 and word is their demand for a new stadium is hurting their World Cup chances. Nashville may host the World Cup draw though. Also sounds like the bid committee is high in Philadelphia.

I don’t think so, but I think they’ll be a host city for a country or two.

Fans rushed the gates to get in for free.
Getting tear gassed.

Why is Camilo Cabello the opening singer for the Champ League?

Shouldn’t it be a famous English, Spanish or French artist?

Wow.
Very loud boos after she finished.
The fans don’t want to be fed American tradition for big sports and I get it.

Djordje Mihailovic out with an injury is a real bummer. Was excited to see him on the roster and was looking forward to see him play. Unless something dramatic happens between now and the World Cup you have to think he has virtually no chance of going to Qatar.

A more impactful injury is Miles Robinson's.
He is out for Qatar.

Grant Wahl posted an article the other day that said from what he's heard from plenty in the circle, KC is on the bubble but likely hosting WC matches in 2026.

Cities out included Nashville, Boston, Orlando and Denver.

I didn’t realize the really sweet new stadium they built in Nashville (suburbs iirc) wasn't nearly large enough for WC.

Can't blame them for not wanting to have it at their shithole football stadium.

Getting out to Arrowhead won’t be easy for visitors.

I’m always amazed that they haven’t fixed the exit issue at Truman. It’s always a shit show.

I am hoping for a win.

We need to play aggressively. Time to start building some momentum instead of playing not to lose.
