ha, I was waiting for that.
but Mericans have never had class!
I meant it more in a "horizontal community"/"abolish the hierarchy of classism" kinda way.
Too bad there isn't a bounty on stupid.

This is always going to be a pointless discussion. Americans are brainwashed to believe the free market (lol) based capitalism system is good and socialism is bad. Some of us figure that out, most do not.ousdahl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 1:55 pm there's a lot more to it than just blanket declaring "did not work out very well."
Qusdahl asks, if socialism never works, then why do capitalist countries try so hard to sabotage it anyway?
what were we doing to places like Russia and Cambodia as soon as they tried for their classless society? Did we just wish them well? Orrrr....
as soon as any country tries for some "people's republic" or any socialist uprising or whatever, here come the sanctions, the CIA meddling, the propaganda, the wars, the dogged attempts to make it fail to prove it fails.
There's a lot suggesting capitalism is the one that wouldn't work, at least without a state-sponsored force to coerce it into working.
and the irony of the "free market" champions pushing for things like sanctions, lulz.
