Yeah, I get it. I have always felt that if religion brings you some sort of inner peace and comfort then that's great because those prayers certainly aren't going to change anything outside of your inner being. I am glad the daughter has a good memory to draw upon that puts a smile on her face and makes her feel good. The cop certainly wasn't going to cure his cancer through the window so he had the most positive impact he probably could have had.

The cop asked if it was OK. That to me, says a lot. I'm no fan of organized religion, but if I were in the guy's place and the cop asked me, I'd pray with him.

greatest country in the history of everything
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I think it's the greatest country in the world. But far from perfect.

You're free to disagree. Also free to move to whichever other country you feel is better, if they'll have you of course.

The most dangerous worldviews are the worldviews of those who have never viewed the world.

Some of you, you two in particular, have a really hard time accepting opinions that differ from your own.

And which country is the "greatest" is 100% opinion based.

Get over yourselves. Trolls.

Care to list your picks for greatest country? And since it's not the USA, why stay here? You both have the resources necessary to move. We'd love to lose you.

I think it's totally acceptable to think a different country is the "greatest" other than the USA.

Some people like strawberries the most. Others like Kiwis the most. It's okay to like different things.

Dude the best part is the “Don’t come here, fix your own country” crowd that lives in a country founded by people who were to weak and cowardly to “fix their own country”

The self hate around here is strange.

And still, nobody will say which countries they think are better and why.

Even the super intelligent and world travled knowitalls like trad and cascadia. Their self superiority is comical. Smartest guys in every room they've ever walked in. How do they have time to have been to every single country and also know all things about all things? Quite impressive!

Also super smart guy....it's "too weak", not "to weak".

Is the actual health care in those countries "better" than in the USA? Or is it just free/universal?

I am happy with my healthcare in the USA. I was happier before the insurance companies were forced to cover those with pre existing conditions though, because it was cheaper. Although much of my health insurance is covered by my employer, which is a nice employment benefit and influences my OPINION.

I do think EVERYONE should have access to healthcare. I just don't think private health insurance companies are the way to achieve that.

I know you don't actually care Q but here's a ranking of healthcare by country....

https://worldpopulationreview.com/count ... -the-world

USA is 18th.
