Literally forgot Edmonton backed out when I said it this afternoon.

Boston in and Nashville out is biggest surprise for American cities.

I think it's pretty strange the nation's capital is not in with everything it offers plus public transport, but not being able to use FedEx had to kill the bid. And then there's the whole security thing.

Rumor is Nashville is the favorite to host the draw. The Titans asking for a new stadium that wouldn't be completed until 2026 completely tanked that city's bid.

Nashville is growing fast, but isn’t considered a “soccer city”. I was more surprised Denver was left out. Denver has the airport, rail from the airport to downtown, etc. I think KC got it because it’s right in the middle of the country, within driving distance to millions and the Hunt family.

Geesh, their stadium is only 20 years old. Can’t imagine why they would need a new one, just overhaul it, it’s in a great location.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

They are always angling for more stadiums. This really isn't much of a challenge. Arrowhead is a near-perfect venue that is right off the interstate.

In a good spot bc you'll draw the New England fans.
I'll likely make the trek there or target Kansas City.

I can only imagine how tough it'll be to get a ticket to a USA game.

No doubt. I’d think SoFi, Dallas are the two most likely cities for US games simply because of capacity.

Are they keeping the turf or doing grass fields for these games?

I knew it wasn't this season but admit I didn't know it is/was several seasons ago.

Speaking of Euros playing in the MLS, Gareth Bale is off to play for LAFC.

Last night I saw some of the Philadelphia Union players at the Nike store.
I didn't know who they were and thought they were on a High School team. These were kids. Not men.
Since when is the MLS a HS league?

The average age of a MLS player is just over 25.
NBA just over 26.
Same with NFL.
