Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

They basically said that no government agency has the right to enact strict regulatory limits and that only Congress can do such a thing, meaning we could see all sorts of crazy get rolled back. Food safety criteria set by the FDA can also now be scrutinized.

Less rights for women, less restrictions on guns, less regulation on the environment. So much winning...

Like I said, we have now moved to a state of an openly political Supreme Court that is making rulings that will cost people their lives in order to have more freedum.

literally ANY agency can now have its powers and jurisdiction called into question and even revoked if the SCOTUS doesn’t think it was part of the agency’s literal, written mandate

Just sitting back watching our country getting taken apart in the exact manner I expected once Trump was able to load the court with ultraconservative Federalist loons.

I’m rooting for the said loons to go full loon to a point that brings about the end of the Republican Party. Hopefully the short term chaos will be well worth the long term cure

I don’t think it’s an inherent problem with the two party system. I’ve lived in a multi-party democracy and people there wish for a two-party system. The problem today in the US is that one of the two parties is composed of sociopaths and misanthropes, who are also bigots and theocrats. Deadliest combination!

21 million abortions this year and counting
54 thousand today and counting. (jus sayin’)

No demonstrations going on, no mass shootings, no border difficulties, no huge political divisiveness, crime? No Biden vs. Trump crap. And the people here are friendly, nice to get away from all the gnashing of teeth in the U.S.
