First off thanks for checking kansascrimson out.
We're (pwhitt, kucol, NL) basically are going to try and do what we did at DOTNET here.
We'll be updating the look/feel ( logo, font, colors ) as we go and working with you on front page/board features. Hopefully a number of you stick around and we keep the community going ( and growing ).

Hit up this thread with suggestions, wants, needs, desires.

My two suggestions are make the politics board go away, or at least have an option where it doesn't show up to me.

Also, ban this pdub character, what a fucking lamo.

Oh, I also don't like the font, because I don't like the little tale on the letter 'l'.

I'll make a link eventually for posting 'guidelines' but generally it's going to be the same as DOTNET.
Absolutely no posting private information.
I'd like to say posting should be between rated R and NC-17 -- you should know what not to post.
And constant trolling, while subjective, won't be allowed - this means derailing conversations completely that have nothing to do with the post or bumping posts over and over again.
Don't spam. Don't post ads.

We won't ban people that posters don't like unless they are breaking board rules.
I do intend to bring back some of the kick features or figure out a democratic way to police yourselves but again, generally, it's going to be very DOTNET like.

If you see a post that you think obviously breaks these rules, report it.

And, like the DOTNET, i'm going to avoid the poli-bored, but I know it's a necessary evil.
If you want to talk politics, please do it there.

Just be adult-like and I think things will be OK.
