Tucker weighed in on the shooting in Highland Park IL. And it was as usual, both enlightening and insightful.....
“Look at Robert ‘Bobby’ Crimo,” Carlson said, as a photograph of the suspect appeared on screen. “Would you sell a gun to that guy? Does he seem like a nutcase? Of course he does. So why didn’t anyone raise an alarm? Well, maybe because he didn’t stand out.”
Carlson opened his Tuesday show discussing the shooting at a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois, allegedly by 21-year-old Robert “Bobby” Crimo. The Fox News host mentioned how authorities said Crimo had appeared on their radar twice before: in April 2019 after a suicide attempt and a few months later after he threatened to “kill everyone” in his immediate family. After the second incident, police confiscated knives, a dagger, and a sword from his home. No complaint was filed, and no arrest was made.

“Maybe because there are a lot of young men in America who suddenly look and act a lot like this guy. That’s not an attack; it’s just true,” Carlson said. The Fox host then identified the things in addition to social media, porn, video games, and “government-endorsed weed” that he believes has led to the troubling behavior of these young men.
“They are numbed by the endless psychotropic drugs that are handed out at every school in the country by crackpots posing as counselors. And, of course, they’re angry. They know that their lives will not be better than their parents’. They’ll be worse,” Carlson said.
“And yet the authorities in their lives—mostly women—never stop lecturing them about their so-called privilege. ‘You’re male, you’re privileged.’” Carlson imitated. “Imagine that. Try to imagine an unhealthier, unhappier life than that. So a lot of young men in America are going nuts. Are you surprised?”
Yep, it's those damn feminist harpys.... dragging down the collective testosterone of Tucker and his fanboys.
Only "ball tanning" can save this country now! Get out there fellers, you know what needs to be done!

not to be outdone, MTG called the Highland Park shootings “designed” to ruin MAGA month and convince pubs to support gun control
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

“The Green New Deal, you know climate change,” Walker said. “I’m going to help you with that real quickly. … We, in America, have some of the cleanest air and cleanest water of anywhere in the world. So what we do is, we gonna put, from the Green New Deal, millions and billions of dollars cleaning our good air up.”
Walker then argued that “because we don’t control the air,” America’s “good air decided” to “float over to China’s bad air.” China’s “bad air” will then “move over to our good air space,” which would force America to “clean that back up.”
In March, Walker questioned the science behind evolution: “At one time science said, man came from apes,” he said at a church event. “Did it not? … If that is true, why are there still apes? Think about it.”

That Tucker, he's a dandy!
On Monday, Tucker Carlson had yet another moment in which he appeared to insinuate agreement with racists. This time, it happened when he made a statement during his Fox News show that at least sounds very much like he opposes the desegregation of American schools.
His statement came in the form of a seemingly random aside during a rant about the governmental crisis in Sri Lanka, which Carlson claims is the fault of liberals and environmentalism. This is not actually the case, but it’s an argument being advanced by conservatives to explain the truly chaotic disaster the country’s economy has become.
“So we know what you’re thinking: ‘Oh, so pampered, lifestyle liberals just destroyed something else. They did to Sri Lanka what busing did to American education, just absolutely wrecked it and walked away like it never happened. That’s the downside. People’s lives were destroyed. It happened a lot,” he said.

Yep, that's gotta be it.
Greg Kelly, the Trumpiest host at ardently MAGA cable channel Newsmax, dismissed the blockbuster revelation that former President Donald Trump tried to call a witness set to appear before the Jan. 6 House committee.
According to Kelly on Tuesday evening, this was much ado about nothing because the ex-president likely just “butt dialed” that person.
At the end of Tuesday’s explosive Jan. 6 hearing, committee vice-chair Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) disclosed that the twice-impeached former president attempted to contact the unidentified witness—who has yet to publicly testify—following the committee’s June 28 hearing. The witness did not take the call and instead referred it to their lawyer, who then contacted the committee. Cheney then added that the committee referred the matter to the Department of Justice.
“Are you ready for this? Apparently, Donald Trump made a phone call and nobody answered it,” the cartoonishly pro-Trump host exclaimed. “But they're acting like this is a big deal.”
Kelly snickered that the “joke committee” has “no authority” and then humblebragged that Trump often hits him up.
“By the way, not to drop names but I received a phone call from the president on more than one occasion, and you actually can’t tell it’s him calling,” he asserted. “He’s got some system you don’t know.”
But even if it was Trump who tried to call the witness, Kelly insisted, it was more likely just an innocent mishap.
“How do you know the president actually called him? And they didn’t answer,” he said while holding up his smartphone. “Hey, maybe it was a butt dial, huh? Tell the Justice Department that.”

What came first, Tucker or the rubes?
Tucker Carlson took a curious approach Tuesday when questioning the influence of George Soros, the Hungarian-born philanthropist, in American affairs. “Why,” Carlson asked, “is some foreign-born billionaire allowed to change our country fundamentally?”
Carlson, of course, is employed by Rupert Murdoch, the Australian-born billionaire media mogul who also owns The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post. Murdoch is chairman of Fox Corporation, which includes not just Fox News but Fox Sports and local Fox news stations, for instance.
During a monologue lamenting the current level of immigration to the U.S., Carlson called back to a prior broadcast where he played dumb and claimed that the “great replacement” theory that he has repeatedly pushed is actually “coming from the left.”

The mental gymnastics going on in Conservative World to figure out how to blame any problem on "the left's side" is alternately hilarious and disgusting. The Left does it some as well but it seems to be the core strategy of the current GOP platform and all that pander to it's audience. Truly bizarre.japhy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 8:29 am That Tucker, he's a dandy!

Former President Donald Trump complained that he couldn’t give himself the Medal of Honor, America’s highest award to recognize valor in military combat.
Trump gave a speech on Saturday at the Turning Points Action conference in Tampa, Florida, where he lashed out at his political foes for the umpteenth time while going on several long-winded tangents. In one of these off-script ramblings, Trump recalled a chapter from his presidency when he flew to Iraq on Air Force One to assess the battle against ISIS, and he spoke of how they had to dim the lights on the plane to avoid detection.
Trump went on and on about the “central casting” pilots who fly Air Force One, and then went into a dramatized retelling of how he sat with the pilot in the dark cockpit as the plane began its descent.
“I said ‘Captain, we’re pretty low.’ I don’t see any runway. I don’t see anything,” Trump said. Recalling how the plane got closer and closer to the ground, Trump kept on expressing concern that he couldn’t see the runway, and he recalled “I told my wife how brave I was.” This included an aside where he mocked MSNBC’s Brian Williams over his Iraq War story fabrication.
“Captain, what the hell is going on?” Trump claimed he said as they got increasingly low. “You wanna pull up, Captain?”
In the end, the landing went fine, so Trump said he asked “how did I do, Captain? Wasn’t I brave? I didn’t think you were gonna land.”
“In fact,” Trump went on, “as president, I wanted to give myself the Congressional Medal of Honor but they wouldn’t let me do it. I’ve always wanted that, but they wouldn’t let me do it. They said that would be inappropriate.”
The Medal of Honor is awarded to servicemen in the armed forces who distinguish themselves by going beyond the call of duty and risking their own lives to advance America’s military operations.
So unfair, no one has ever been treated as unfairly as Donnie.
