Yeah, regardless, let's beat 'em down by 40 so Durham freaks the F out.

Duke opens at home against Jacksonville on Nov. 7th prior to playing KU at the Champions Classic.
So we’ll make Scheyer start 0-2 😀
Wouldn't that be fun? The chaos that would erupt from that would be delicious.

Gonna be tough to shoot underwater.
Probably will need to feed the post which will make a lot of posters here upset.

Nice. If KU advances, they could face either a Dayton team in the semis who is showing up in the low 20s of early preseason rankings or a Wisconsin team who is pretty much always a challenge. Tennessee, ranked in the high teens preseason, is the team to beat on the other side of the bracket. Should be a pretty high quality tourney for KU if they can stay alive.

I'd rather play underwater over the ballroom with a 13 foot ceiling and one 60 watt bulb lamp lighting the whole arena.

Glow in the dark basketball.

Also, i'm digging the times if things go as planned.

Take the Wednesday and Friday off obviously.
Maybe watch the game at a restaurant/bar Wednesday.
Bloody marys to start Thanksgiving Thursday. Doesn't interfere with Thanksgiving football or meal.
Turkey sandwich and leftovers for Fridays game.

Oh man, I forgot about that.
That's a bummer.
KU til halftime and check the box score.

USA in the World Cup takes precedence over a non con November tourney.

First thought with this tourney was how it would fall in line with WC viewing. And also am not confident that KU will be playing the championship on this one. We usually aren't consistent early season tourney champs, even with teams that return a lot.

I'd normally have a 2 TV setup but that US game will be too intense not to pay attention in full.
Good luck KU.

I can't even watch the WC anymore. I miss when players would just play for the love of their country and not make it about money.

Pretty bad take/joke.
They actually mostly do play for the love of their country ( compared to regular season salaries ).
And they are already professionals.

Nice try though.

KU hasn't lost a early season tourney since Wiggins and Embiid lost in the Atlantis tourney.

21-22: won the ESPN Events title
20-21: didn't do one
19-20: won Maui title
18-19: won NIT Season Tip off title
17-18: won game over Syracuse dubbed the Miami Hoophall Classic but no true early season tourney
16-17: won CBE Classic title
15-16: won Maui title
14-15: won Orlando Classic title
13-14: lost in semis of Battle for Atlantis

I stand corrected in terms of recent history. Guessing I confused some of the early season tourneys with other high-ish profile non-con games where we lost.

Can't believe it's been that long since we played/lost in Atlantis.

Got damn that is an impressive list.

"21-22: won the ESPN Events title"

I don't believe so - lost to Dayton.
The officials called the terrible offensive foul on Dave and then they miracle banked/bounced some shit in.

Favorite November games--hard for anything to come close to these 2 for me.

1. 2006 vs. Florida
2. 2013 vs. Duke
