Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Saturday said “no one can convince” her that the rioters behind the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol were not anti-fascist protesters and that she “cannot wait for a real investigation” to take place, in an apparent snub to the House committee investigation’s year-long probe.

Greene was speaking with fellow 2020 election conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell, also known as the My Pillow Guy, after attending the Conservative Political Action Conference in Texas when she made her unsupported claims and shared her shock at the day’s violence.

“I was very upset. I never expected anything like that. And when that happened I thought, this is antifa, and no one can convince me it was so-called Trump supporters, and we know there’s a lot wrong there, and I cannot wait for a real investigation,” she said, while pointing a finger at anti-fascist protesters.

All of the people who were arrested on Jan. 6th have full social media profiles and public statements that can reviewed as well as their statements that they made in their court proceedings. "No one can convince me it was so-called Trump supporters" because the truth would be an inconvenient hurdle to her shtick.

I have no doubt in my mind that if Trump wants to run that he would be the GOP nominee. I don't think there is a majority share opposed to him that could unite behind a primary opponent. Honestly, it's my concern about if Biden wants to run as well.

The only person Trump can possibly beat is Biden. If Dems nominate literally anyone other than Biden they will win easily. They may win easily again even if it's Biden.

But much like we are witnessing the death of the old Republican party, I think the death of the old Dem party is coming within the next 8-12 years. Hopefully then we can start seeing some common sense progress on things the vast majority of us agree need work (gun reform, tax reform, healthcare reform, environmental protection).

I think most, including me, have praised that progress. Others complained it wasn't enough. I think some progress is better than no progress. Even if more is desired.
