The Old Man on Hulu is pretty good (stars Jeff Bridges)

started Outer Range on Amazon, but got sucked into Yellowstone instead

Dark Winds is good as well

Ted Lasso. Succession. Ozark. Alone. Squid Game. Stranger Things. Mare of Easttown. Barry. The Peacemaker. The Staircase. Midnight Mass ( though the ending kinda was a letdown ). Hacks. The Marvelous Ms. Maivel.

I think there's just so much content that the really good stuff gets undervalued.
I don't have Apple TV or Hulu.

I have already watched all of Ozark, Stranger Things, Mare of Easttown, Marvelous Ms. Maisel.

Squid Games doesn't look interesting to me. Barry is fine but has never been interesting enough to stick with. The Peacemaker seems amusing and I have watched a bit but it's so corny that I have to be in the mood for it. Succession is one that maybe I'd watch and I'll probably check out The Staircase as I am a Toni Collette fan.

Had Peacock (sucked, cancelled), have Paramount + (sucks, probably cancel) and then Netflix, Amazon Prime and Sling. Same shit always pops up as "trending". And I feel like I spend more time looking for something to watch and then I just settle on some random documentary.
HBO Max isn't an extra charge if you're already subscribing to HBO. It's just the streaming portal to your already-paid-for HBO shows.

Then I will expand on my comment:

Frankly, it doesn't have to be that good to be one of the better things on that I have access to see and have not already watched.

Better.
Squid Games is good.
It's just so ridiculous and out there.

Succession is one of the best series I have ever seen.
Top 10.

Top 10.
Not sure about order.

The West Wing. Friday Night Lights. Game Of Thrones. The Simpsons. Mad Men. Always Sunny In Philadelphia. The Wire. The Office. Succession. South Park.

Honorable mentions: Seinfeld, Curb Your Own Enthusiasm, X Files, Archer, Ted Lasso, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec.

If limited series counts, these are all honorable mentions, perhaps one of them making top 10: Band Of Brothers. The Pacific. True Detective. Mindhunter. Haunting of Hill House.

( miss me with the overrated Sopranos )

You like adult cartoons more than I do apparently.

Loved West Wing, Friday Night Lights, Game Of Thrones, Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Wire, The Office, Seinfeld, 30 Rock and Parks & Rec though.

Never got into Mad Men or X-Files. X Files started when I was 21 and not watching much TV so I wasn't dialed into it from the beginning. Have seen some Curb Your Enthusiasm and have enjoyed it but just never committed to watching it all. Band of Brothers was fantastic as was The Pacific and Mindhunter.

Speaking of "the first season of (this show) was amazing", I still think about the finale of the first season of American Crime. One of my favorite TV episodes of all time. It only ran 3 seasons and each season, like True Detective, was a standalone unrelated to any previous seasons.

Yep, I'll be tuning in to check it out. Should be interesting. The names are all going to be ridiculous to remember but it sounds as good as anything else out there to watch these days.
two episodes in and i’m enjoying it as much as GoT

I've been enjoying Barry. I wouldn't say I feel it's "great" but I do find it entertaining.
For light entertainment I will often watch Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Was on a big Impractical Jokers kick for a while.
I enjoy Pitt Bulls and Parolees.
Happy I will soon have a lot of Football to view - my favorite sport to watch on TV.

anybody know what to do with a firestick that all of a sudden gets stuck on a "recovery 3e" prompt? Was working fine until tonight.

even tried the hard factory reset but that does nothing...I cant get it to move from the recovery prompt page. Everything I read says do a factory reset. When I do that I dont get the prompt to start the reset, literally nothing happens...at all.
