Kobe Baynes is eligible right away and Puni looks like he is starting.

Nice seeing every position on the OL 2 deep have a RS Sophomore. Means after some seniors leave, there will still be at least 2 years of continuity to go.

KU accepting bids for Memorial Stadium according to KU.edu website.

The University of Kansas (KU), Kansas Athletics Incorporated (KAI), and KU Endowment are accepting proposals for concept and schematic design services
from sports design consultants for the 11th & Mississippi Project, which includes: 1. A multi-purpose year-round venue which may incorporate conference or entertainment capabilities, retail, dining, health care services, or other facilities that support economic development and the University’s academic mission.
2. A new gateway to campus.
3. An upgraded home for Kansas Football. See the Scope of Work for more information

I can’t find this on the ku.edu website. Anyone have a link? I’d like to read the Scope of Work.

They've received RFP's for years on Memorial.

The entertainment district stuff is new, as far as I'm aware. On one hand, this is great news, great for University, fans, etc. On the other: I still have nostalgia for the neighborhood(s) east of the stadium pre Oread Hotel.

Of all of the cities, it's Kansas City that is home to the best sports facility architecture firms in the world.

KU will be in good hands.

Nevada on the road with a rope in 2023. Sigh. Lose a home game for that? Houston screwed us over.

Any other program in the Big 12, this probably doesn’t happen.

But it’s Kansas.

Nah, did not lose a home game. We were looking to schedule a road game and still have no FCS opponent. This will actually make the non-con schedule easier.

Home: FCS and Illinois
Road: Nevada

Before it would have been:
Home: Illinois and Houston
Road: G5 or P5 FBS

Road games are FCS at this level. Terrible optics; I thought you can have three home game noncon?

I'm not sure what you are trying to say.

Highly doubtful we'd ever go 3 home games without a road game for non-con.

Schedule might change significantly for 2024.

I remember 3 or four home games back in the day then the league. If we have to play road games, I can see Nevada.

Just checked and the last time we played 0 road games in the non-con was 2007. 4 home games that season: 52-7, 62-0, 45-13, 55-3. Then won in Manhattan, which is when I started to believe we had a legit Top 25 team.

Agree with Sparko here, garbage non con scheduling.

Still can’t believe we didn’t buy out of the Houston series.

The Nevada change should make you happy. That's right in line with how you usually say you'd like to schedule. Road game that will be within about a TD spread, i.e. winnable road game. We're not going to 0 road games.

Houston series was always a bad idea. This change gets rid of half of it.

We're not bottom 10. At least not according to Ryan (Mr. NOT Clever Name) McGee.
I know, that and 10 bucks gets me an order of grilled nuggets as Chik-fil-A and a ride on a bus.
