Re: NFL 2022
Still don't fully understand the Buffalo hype. Yes they're good, but man they had some gross losses.
Last year..
6-9 loss in Jax
15-41 loss to Indy at home.
10-14 loss to NE at home.
They're going to lose about 2-3 games that they shouldn't. I just don't think they should have the highest Win O/U in the league. They still have a top 10-ish SOS. Schedule is not easy.
That being said, I still think Buffalo and KC meet in AFC Championship.

I like Buffalo's team and think they are a safe pick for being the best team in the league.
However, I will not predict them to win the Super Bowl mostly because of stuff like this:

More egregious is that Cowboys pick.

Nice of them to all pick the Bills. I will assume Mariucci, Warner, and Irvin, had at least a slight bias in their runner up selections.

Re: NFL 2022
Don't sell yourself short Newton! At least one person other than yourself cares. Me. Our predictions differ a bit but I wouldn't strongly disagree with anything your predicted.
Not so quick thoughts....
Philly seems to be the flavor of the month. Should help that they start out with the Lions, Commanders, and Jags 3 of their first 4 games - so they will probably be even bigger media darlings. Have to figure the Cowboys are the only team that will challenge them in their division.
Vikes are also in an easy division. I think if the Pack stay healthy, they will be the better team but it should be a close race.
Buccs will be interesting. Defense may carry them. Let's see what happens with the Brady saga.
Maybe the Saints actually challenge them?
Rams should win the West but who knows? Maybe the Cards and/or San Francisco surprise.
Wouldn't be shocked and I actually expect all 3 teams make the playoffs.
A healthy Bills teams wins the AFC East. I think 95% of non-partial fans and "experts" agree.
You like the Ravens to win the North. I like the Bengals. As much as I don't really like any team in that division, it might be one of the more fun ones in regards to competition.
The south is a two horse race. Not too sure why I chose the Titans. Colts might be my choice 49% to the Titans 51%.
I think like last season, the West will be interesting. Like the north, this may be an tightly contested division 1 through 4 but play to their ability and stay healthy and I think the Chiefs win the division by a couple/few games.

I will doubt Tom Brady when he shows signs of doubting him.
He has not yet ( ever? ).

Diontae could be a top 10 half PPR WR.
I can alternate between Russ and Cousins depending on matchup.

I will never doubt Brady - when he's on the field. I should know better than to question if his heart and head are 100% dedicated but the past 8 or so months with him has been an adventure.pdub wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 9:56 am "Buccs will be interesting. Defense may carry them."

Re: NFL 2022
I wouldnt trade a "something to prove, chip on shoulder" Russ for a Brady whose more focused on the masked singer.
but I could be wrong.

Re: NFL 2022
I've always passed on Brady thinking he "can't keep getting away with it".
I've had Russ in so many leagues.
Time to mix it up.
Also, wrong thread, but I think DJ Moore is going to have a good year with Baker.

Didn't realize until today that Russ's first game is in Seattle.

Let's see if NFL defenses stop Josh Allen from running. Finally.

Either Buffalo is really good or LA is terrible.

Re: NFL 2022
Buffalo is really good.
Crowder was a good get for them.
Loosing Sanders and just going in on Gabe Davis also a win.
Defense is stacked.
Josh Allen maybe the best QB in football. Didn’t see his second interception but his first wasn’t his fault at all.
( though one of these days he’s gonna get hurt from the way he plays )

Re: NFL 2022
I get some serious Cam Newton vibes with Allen. Yeah, he’ll win an MVP and go to a Super Bowl, but how many can he last for?
