Re: next soccer question
The blue is fine. Probably what they will wear most of the time if they could pick. Nike did the same for most all of the World Cup jerseys, Australia has the same design.

The blue is getting dragged more than the white.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 2:29 pm The blue is fine. Probably what they will wear most of the time if they could pick. Nike did the same for most all of the World Cup jerseys, Australia has the same design.
IMO, don't get me wrong, I think the blues suck, but I think I can see there was some effort put forth. The whites look like they found some practice jerseys for a youth squad, slapped a logo on it, and called it good.

Less is more.
Give me the simplicity of, say, an Alabama or Penn State football uniform. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel for fucksake.

I actually felt like the blues felt more youth squadish than the whites.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 2:35 pmThe blue is getting dragged more than the white.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 2:29 pm The blue is fine. They will never do it, but I would give the thumbs up to just making these permanent. Plenty of countries have little variance WC to WC.digitalkookie wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 2:49 pm Less is more.

Those would be okay if they weren't, ya know, striped.
I see what you're getting at though

The blue is not fine.
It is awful and lazy and shitty design.
Almost as bad as those camo unis Adidas gave us and Baylor some years back.

The stripes are as bad or worse than the blue tie dye.

Re: next soccer question
I'm not a fan of just stripes but it's better than puking black on blue.
Re: next soccer question
Me too, but only with navy and the black/gold. I can't get down with the thick horizontal stripes.

Now that, I can get down with. Nice and simple
Re: next soccer question
Spent 5 minutes in photoshop.
If you're going to have a logo, I sometimes like to give a nod to it, work with it on the jersey.
In this case, in the USA badge, you have the stripes in a triangle/carrot shape - just mimic that - add some hints of your color on the sleeves and maybe integrate a star since you are the stars and stripes.
