Big test now - how will they perform with a big home crowd expecting them to win?

Is it really supposed to be in the 80s and sunny in Lawrence tomorrow? If so, maybe The Booth really will be full and not just “sold out”.
That will be very cool for the players and coaches and hopefully gives them extra motivation to beat the Blew Devils!

Kickoff temp 74 with 6% cloud cover and a 7mph wind out of the west.
Game over temp 82 with 3% cloud cover and a 9mph wind out of NW.

Perfect day for football.

A great stage for KU football. These kids have to be excited to be in this position. I hope they are able to capitalize on it and show out.

I really hope this is that coach that drags us out of the depths of football hell.

We have the MOJO rising!!!

Duke going to be a different game. Duke giving up 14 pts per game on defense. They have a new coach. They got DC from Texas A&M as their HC. This week watch their defense against our offense to see if they scheme anything that slows us down. Not going to happen but should be fun to watch,

We have started our last two games down 14-0 on the road against two good teams. Didn't matter.

We have the next three games at home with sold out stadium. We not going to start out down 14-0 and most likely going to have the lead from the get go. IMO we have the most efficient QB in college football.

The defense is progressing in the right direction. Lots of depth and they only going to get better.

We are in First Place in BG12!
We are Undefeated! Only 33 teams left.

This going to be a statement game. Puke got no chance.

Duke's 3 wins are not nearly as impressive as KU's. KU has gone on the road and beaten a conference opponent and a team ranked in the preseason top 25. Duke has wins over 3 teams with a combined 2 wins, one of which was against a Nebraska team that already fired their coach. This is a real prove it game for Duke. On the road versus a power 5 team that is going to have a fired up, sold out crowd. KU players need to come out confident and loose, all the pressure is on Duke to prove their 3-0 start more than us.

KU opponent West Virginia went on the road to Virginia Tech, a tough place to play, and waxed them last night 33-10.

And West Va's coach mentioned Kansas at least 4 times during his presser last night. And that game was 2 weeks ago.

LOL

lol, no. You railed against anyone who had positive things to say last season and ridiculed them by calling them sunshine boys. It’s ok, you were wrong. We all knew it then and we all know it now.

Welcome to bandwagon, sunshine.

I think Duke is better than most people are giving them credit for, plus, I'm sure Elko will make sure his team is playing with a chip on their shoulder. KU will win and cover, but I definitely wouldn't be surprised if the game is closer than most are assuming.
