he needed your input....it really swayed his decision. I think he was on the cusp of changing his plans. Well done, good Samaritan. keep fighting the good fight against the imaginary characters you've created.

If I wasn't dealing with my health issue I would have seen one of Coolio's last performances (I think his last performance was in Austin about a week ago) and now I'm even more frustrated I wasn't there.

would you rather:

A: pick 3 delivery places anywhere in the world. you get free delivery ( if they deliver to you ) for the rest of your life from those 3 places ( they can be chains ). all costs paid for including a 20% tip. ( these places can be partnered with doordash or uber eats BUT you cannot order alcohol from them )

B: free food and drinks from every sit down restaurant in the world for everyone at your table but you must order and finish entirely a main pasta dish ( cant be an app, must finish it all at the table, pasta has to be a main on the menu, risotto not included as pasta ). all costs paid including 20% tip.

does it have to be Italian-style pasta dishes?

can, say, Asian-style noodle dishes count too?

or like beef Stroganoff?

how about mac and cheese?

"a dish originally from Italy consisting of dough made from durum wheat and water, extruded or stamped into various shapes and typically cooked in boiling water."

So no to your questions except your first one.

No.
I would have said noodle dish.
It's Eye-Talian i.e. pasta for option B.

You know what pho noodles are made from, right? Do the noodles know they're not Eye-Talian?

https://www.pbs.org/food/the-history-ki ... %20noodles.

While this is a fine argument, for this scenario, pasta is defined as it normally is, without nitpicking it.

So no pho. Or lo mein. Those are noodles that were there before "pasta" as we know it was even invented.

If that's a deal breaker, then i'd choose A, and pick the right delivery spots.

Filipino, actually

the chili/lime variety is probably the best, imo

different from regular ramen in that it comes with soy and oil in addition to the powdered seasoning (and plenty of msg). also, it isn’t generally consumed with broth…once the noodles are cooked, the water is drained and goodies added
