“Wait, Tulsi Gabbard was a Democrat?”
lol
lol
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Re: 2024
It's definitely not going to be Biden. Whether or not it's Trump remains to be seen.
Re: 2024
remind me why I would care what party affiliation Tulsi Gabbard has? Or what party any person, anywhere, is or isn't a member?
I dont give a shit about any of it at all. I dont care what party anyone is in, I dont vote down party lines. I frankly could care less about party affiliation. Frankly, I think we should abolish both fucking parties and start over. At a minimum we need a legitimate 3rd party.
Just Ledoux it

I see a lot of people saying this, I think the Forward Party sounds promising, I am not aware of any previous attempts at a centrist party. It might have a chance of success if it stops being considered just an Andrew Yang thing.TDub wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 4:13 pmremind me why I would care what party affiliation Tulsi Gabbard has? Have they ever made any sort of statement about what their actual party platform is or is it just "we aren't those guys"? It might have a chance for success if they actually did something or said something or put a candidate out there.Mjl wrote: ↑Wed Oct 12, 2022 9:57 amI see a lot of people saying this, I think the Forward Party sounds promising, I am not aware of any previous attempts at a centrist party. Nothing would make me happier as a Democrat than to have the GOP ticket in 2024 be Trump and MTG.

Re: 2024
Spare me please. The current cabal of pearl-clutchers would just find another reason why this Third Party is not worthy. They have been doing this for as long as I can remember, with each and every candidate of EVERY Party. They will never tell you what they want from a candidate (except for nonspecific platitudes) or who currently they prefer; just that none of the candidates are good enough. It’s a game invented and run by those who need to sell magazines and broadcasts. There are many here who have bought it wholesale (the usual suspects).Mjl wrote: ↑Wed Oct 12, 2022 9:57 amI see a lot of people saying this, I think the Forward Party sounds promising, I am not aware of any previous attempts at a centrist party. The "I'm not that guy" platform strategy worked pretty well in 2020.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Oct 12, 2022 10:03 amHave they ever made any sort of statement about what their actual party platform is or is it just "we aren't those guys"?
