Grateful for his sake that it's "only" Grade III.

Hopefully no surgery?

Must have just got the results of some specific scans or something...earlier this morning Leipold said Jalon was just "doubtful" for the OU game and didn't officially rule him out.

Gosh. Having the TCU behemoth "accidentally" crush him ended in injury.

So this just took an interesting turn.

When Boyer tweeted out that news earlier, his Twitter bio still said he worked at the LJWorld. Once his report got spread around, he changed his info and Matt Tait addressed it. Maybe this isn't 100% accurate yet?

Who should we believe? Jalon himself? Someone may have hacked his Twitter feed. The same hackers that say terrible stuff about political figures and drunken celebrities.

No one cares about getting the info correct, they just want to get it out first.

That’s an interesting dynamic there. He got a ton of interaction. He better hope he’s right. Or is Leipold pulling out old pics..?

Interesting

In the coaches office posting a pic of him with both arms raised in the air 7 minutes after responding to the "he has a grade 3 shoulder separation and will be out the rest of the season". I guess his shoulder is feeling better.

I wonder how many TD's Bean accounts for against OU? 4 against TCU which obviously has better D than OU. 5? 6? Hopefully he lays off the INT's. Can't afford any TO's in this one.

JD's done for a bit. Even w/ 'scopy, it'll be a long rehab (if he's smart).

He'll be fine. We'll see him again, stronger.

It's Bean's season. He's been waiting. Paying dues.

I predict he'll impress. He's a dam* good FB player.
Please, I implore you to be reasonable...

TCU win yesterday makes me feel a little more confident. We have a nice squad that plays for its coaches.

That said, no Jalon or Cobee makes it really difficult. We’re not going to catch anyone sleeping anymore.

…“What I said to them this morning was, ‘If you want to have an opportunity to play in December or January, you have to play well in November,’” second-year KU coach Lance Leipold said Monday, briefing reporters about his message to his Jayhwaks (5-3, 2-3 Big 12) as a week with reduced workload begins.

“We have that opportunity to play in one of those two months if we play well in November. They’ve got a lot to play for there yet, and I really like the attitude and resolve of this football team.”…

One thing that happened last year is that Kansas played their best football in November. The staff has a week to self-scout themselves. Not worry about scouting Oklahoma State next week. They can focus on them for this entire week.

Cool thing Travis Goff is starting.

Biggest thing I saw is Capital Improvements..
10-year plan that includes dramatically improving things such as Wi-Fi, "construct facilities"
Transforming Memorial with a reimagined seating bowl design, expanded concessions, restrooms and accessible seating, improved concourse circulation and premium amenities.
Improvements to Anderson Family Football Complex.
Enhance AFH with in-game and in-seat experiences through new technology (Video and sound) improving concourses and augment premium hospitality spaces to rival best in CBB
Improve Baseball facilities and create a funding path for reimagination of stadium.

VR in AFH!!

It's great that Goff has been working out. When you're as delicate of a program as KUFB, a fractured athletic department is a big burden.
