Warriors on a spending spree. First Poole and now locked up Wiggs for the next 5 years.

Great news for Wiggins.
That team culture ( I guess sans Draymond being Draymond ) has been great for him.

Draymond really pushed and helped Wiggins become who he is. Draymond is a huge part of that culture. Ironically draymond is one of the best influences Wiggins has had since he got to the league

I’m not sure, after the punch, Dray is going to be a part of the culture after this year.

Warriors went in on Poole and Wiggs.

Draymond is gonna age horribly. Hes a defender who depends on athleticism and energy to be effective. And he's getting older. They'd be stupid to give him another big contract. He had a hell of a run with the warriors but it makes zero sense to give him a big contract moving forward. And I was saying this BEFORE the punch lollll

Josh Jackson waived by the Raptors. 4th pick in the 2017 draft. NBA All-Rookie Second Team member.

Lack of discipline. Doesn't seem to have done the things necessary to turn his potential into his ability. One of the most naturally gifted defenders I have ever seen with a real sense of how to disrupt a play before it happens but just wasn't disciplined enough to turn himself into anything more than what he is.

Yup.
And you could see that here ( in college ) too ( would really get heated/pouty if he was taken out of the game ) but he was so talented it didn't matter.

Embiid and Wiggins kicking things off tonight for opening night of the NBA.

Well it was an obvious pun. So once again you're going out of your way to make yourself look like an ass

Games last night.....

Embiid 37 min, 9-18 fg, 1-6 3pt, 15 reb, 5 ast, 1 blk, 6 to, 26 pts
Wiggins 29 min, 8-14 fg, 4-7 3pt, 6 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk, 20 pts

Side note... I didn't realize Marcus is making more that 8x as much money as Markieff.
For their carers -
Marcus 27.1 min, 43.5 fg %, 37.7 3pt %, 77.3 ft %, 4.6 reb, 1.5 ast, 12.4 pts
Markieef 24.8 min, 44.6 fg %, 34.1% 3pt, 77.7 ft, 5.2 reb, 1.6 ast, 10.9 pts

I agree at times he's a cunt. I also feel at other times he's a great guy.
I know I'm in the minority (at least on here it seems I am) - and I'm fine with that.

Back to Jayhawks....

I just saw and Devonte went scoreless in 15 minutes and the Pelicans still beat the Nets by 22 in Brooklyn. Can someone remind me again why Steve Nash is the Nets coach.

Other stats.....

Kieff had 3 points in 3 minutes.
Svi DNP CD
Oubre had 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and was a game high +36 in 23 minutes.
Braun had 0 points in 2 minutes.
Ochai had 0 points in 1 minute.
