Devonte needs out of New Orleans. He's just wasting away. Alvarado playing ahead of him now.

If Devonte wants to play more, he needs to have that line consistently.

Ingram, Zion, and Herb Jones were all out last night, which was the reason for the increased run/usage for the bench guys.

I know that. But what I'm saying if he wants to play more consistently, he needs that line. Playing 27 minutes with no turnovers is big for a guard.

He only has 1 turnover on the entire season so far in 68 minutes so that doesn't seem to be an issue. The issue is that he is only shooting 6-14 from three and 0-5 from 2 on the season for a combined fg% of just 31.6%. If you're going to be an NBA SG you'd better be able to shoot. I am sure those numbers will rise over time.

Doesn't Devonte play as more of a PG?

Yes, a PG. He's just "old." Exact age as Wiggins. Will be a great backup PG that continues to get contracts/roster spots. 6/14 3's is good and has great floor vision. But he's not going to be able to hang in there to get paint points much longer.

I watched the NOP game last night, some of it anyway. Love DG's hustle, missed a lot of shots though.

Also missed a couple of free throws down the stretch.

He aint old. He just is what he is. Not quite big enough or athletic enough to be a starting point guard. Not a good enough defender. But a really good rotationguard on a good team. Knocking down shots, getting assists, and taking care of the ball. Offensive spark

He definitely was a PG in Charlotte. He has played a lot more off the ball in New Orleans since Alvarado emerged late last year/early this year.

Indeed. Nice that his coach seems to genuinely be one of his biggest fans.

I don't think it is too crazy to predict CB may end up having a better NBA career than Och. Some of the things he does well seem to be translating to the NBA already.
