That's a big one. You can't say that Miami hasn't been trying lately.
Re: NFL 2022
Miami nabs Jeff Wilson who was going to be the 3rd RB in San Fran soon enough.

Kind a bit of a flurry going on.
“I don’t remember anything he said, but it was a very memorable speech.” Julian Wright on a speech Michael Jordan gave to a group he was in

12 minutes left to see if Kareem Hunt remains a Brown.
( which, if you are the Browns and REALLY think you're a contender, I get it, but I don't think you should think that )

Re: NFL 2022
No, it's the Bears pick from what i'm reading, which should be mid to early 2nd round.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 1:13 pm So the 2nd rounder is the Ravens 2nd and not the Bears, so that's better.
Claypool himself was drafted mid to late 2nd round and really has only been average.
Re: NFL 2022
Miami is going to be a nasty out in the playoffs. I hope Buffalo gets them first.
Re: NFL 2022
Tyreek and Waddle is probably better than Diggs and Davis.
But it would be very rewarding to knock Tyreek out of the playoffs.

2 more were announced after this tweet:
Re: NFL 2022
Oh for sure.
At the moment, we would host them ( Dolphins ) at Arrowhead, as Tennessee is the 2 seed.
Beating Tennessee would have us hosting the Chargers ( also scary ).
Let's hope we can nab the 2 seed and the Jets or Pats snag that 7th spot.
Re: NFL 2022
Yep. If KC can pull up to the 2 seed, which I think they can, then Miami could win their game as the 6 seed and then face the 1 seed Bills in the Divisional round and then (assuming KC wins their first 2 games over the 7 seed and then whoever wins the 4/5 game) KC could face Miami to go to the Super Bowl. Lots of moving parts still.
Re: NFL 2022
I would much prefer Mac Jones or Zack Wilson than a healthy Justin Herbert.
Hell, i'd prefer a Joe Burrow rematch than a healthy Herbert.

Re: NFL 2022
Stupid question time.
I just discovered Rodgers finished 4th in the AP NFL Offensive Player of the year voting last season.
Meanwhile, he was the AP league MVP.
Are they not the same people voting for both awards? If so, then what am I missing?

Re: NFL 2022
MVP usually goes to a QB and I think you look at and say, if we took this player off this team, how dramatically would it affect their chances of winning?
Offensive POY can go hand in hand but it also can be just a stud of a player who racks up stats i.e. a receiver or running back. Steph Diggs or, gross, Tyreek Hill could be these dudes.
But if you took Diggs or Tyreek off their teams, I don't think it would affect WAR more than it would if you took Allen or Mahomes off their teams.
Last year, Cooper Kupp is a good example. Epic season. All the catches and yards. And probably a top 5-10 player in terms of value. But the drop from Aaron ( who was playing well in 21-22 ) to Jordan Love was evident when Green Bay came to KC in that godawful low scoring trashpile last season.

I think one of those rare times where I'd be justified to go full blown sparko:

It looks bad until you realize that the sucker money was on no 49-plus yard TDs to the Commanders. Then it becomes just really bad luck and a blooper real (tm) for NFL Films on the back end. . . .CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 1:41 pm I think one of those rare times where I'd be justified to go full blown sparko:
