Hes got a long way go. But the talent level for pettiford is so much higher. Unfortunately neither can shoot. But both play good defense. Dajuan is better. More experienced. But pettiford is a lot more athletic
Pettiford is better at scoring. That's it.

We need them both. Doesn't have to be an either or kind of thing.
But never on the floor together preferably
They looked pretty good together for that stretch!

If we get 2 years out of him I will be happier than I expected.

I don't see how he's an NBA player, so stay in school, get that NIL $$$ and a degree, and then go overseas for a decade, already rich for an early/mid 20s year old.
Projected 2nd round in the mocks. I like his NBA fit more than Jalen’s.

I hope we get both for 2 more seasons.
Understandable. KM has an NBA skill (defense). JW doesn't seem to have an NBA skill yet.

Agree.

It'll take a truck load of NIL $$$.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Udeh pass Clemence up in the rotation at some point this year. That dude is long, strong and athletic. He's going to be able to do some things that Self like more than bigs shooting threes.
Agree, very possible. I just wouldn't call it a done deal based on literally the first substitution of the season. Both logged 3 minutes.
Absolutely. Udeh is gonna be clueless on some things that take reps. Just exciting to see his talent. I forget sometimes that Udeh was a Top 40 recruit and not someone down in the 80-120 range who would be a surprise contributor.
Udeh looks less clueless than Clemence.

Vecenie at the Athletic does not think it's a foregone conclusion that he'll enter the draft.

Yes dajuan is bills favorite. Not a surprise. I love the way dajuan plays defense. And the way he runs the offense, unselfishly like a true pass first point guard. He's a good point guard. But he has major holes in his game. And I hate that. He's small, isn't very athletic, and can't shoot. Those are big liabilities for a lead guard at a place like kansas. And he missed 5 layups tonight. 5

Does Clemence not fit the style/pace Bill wants this team to play this year?

Dude sucks
Just think if he wouldn't have missed those 5 layups. Dajuan will have plenty of good games. But I won't be the only one complaining about his limitations this season. We ain't playing Omaha again

He's a point guard with a national championship. Geez you're dumb.

Clemence doesn't fit in on offense or defense. Hes just a tall guy that can shoot. Awkward fit here

you whiff on at least 5 posts a day and you still get to post on a national championship caliber board. Dajuan controls the offense, hits a couple shots, plays lockdown defense. What do you do?
Just Ledoux it
