Re: Tomorrow
did mich notice the credentials of the authors?
doubtful
edit: i’ll help
Laura Tyson, a former chair of the president’s Council of Economic Advisers during the Clinton administration, is a professor at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a member of the board of advisers at Angeleno Group. Teresa Ghilarducci is professor of economics at The New School for Social Research.
i think i’ll trust their opinions over the willfully ignorant “folks” all day long

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Tomorrow
I think New York is going to get a Republican Governor. Not even a centrist. But this tweet by the current Governor is, policy aside, the stupidest political move I have ever seen.
This person reflects my thoughts on it perfectly (except for the fact I'm not a New Yorker)

Re: Tomorrow
Crazy and paranoid me is thinking I might fear Kari Lake and Loren Boebert more as losers than I do/would as winners.

Re: Tomorrow
Looks like this turned into nothing more than your typical mid term shift. No major "sign" of any sweeping conservative takeover. On to the next one.
Re: Tomorrow
i was told that this was the single most important election in the history of this great country.
i was told that the fate of democracy was at stake.

Re: Tomorrow
the liberal media is so unhinged. you could make the case that they are election tampering. they spew more misinformation than comrade oushdale and mother russia.
Re: Tomorrow
Hey Mich, thanks for re-electing Whitmer!
Re: Tomorrow

Re: Tomorrow
Maybe it was at stake and the crisis was averted. This certainly could have been a very different morning for sure. But yeah, fear sells products and fear motivates votes.
