Has a lotto pick passed up the NBA for NIL yet?

Seems highly unlikely to me. It's not like endorsements go away if you choose the NBA path. It would legitimately need to come down to a decision between will I improve more in the next 12months at Kansas or in the NBA. I don't think money can keep a lotto guy at KU nearly as much as it does those fringe 1st or possible 2nd rounders.

It was always so great when Drew used to always bring his zone defense to AFH no matter what the film said.

Potential obviously there but it's pretty early to lock him into lotto status.
If he's a verge 1st rounder, i'm sure we'll pay him.

i mean, we had to live with those Johnson shirts for a freaking decade. at least this isn't some manufactured colloquialism.

It’s easy to call him a shooter, but I kinda think the best thing for him and this team is to get his downhill game going

his first half finish, with the english/spin off the glass, is still my favorite
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

At the end there, after his clutch three, there were two set plays to get him the ball, which is really promising.

Of note, Harris's lob pass to him back door around the screen was a thing of beauty.

Dook left the back door wide open. Actual good defenses won't give us that often.

but yea, I kind of can't get over the fact that Dick only scored one bucket from deep. Everything else pretty much at the rim.

And he looks good finishing at the rim, too!

Thats big time to do in your first big game as a freshman. After having a quiet half then coming up big at the end

that too!

I'm more comfortable with Gradey getting looks in the mid range, than McCullar so far, and prob anyone else except maybe Jalen.

He (Dick) some of his moves remind me a little(just a little) of Pistol Pete. All he needs to do is have a bigger mop of hair on his head. I could be wrong about the Pistol Pete comparison though, like I was wrong about rafters.

He reminds me of him too. Confidence from taking thousands of shots and those reverse lay-ins. He is showtime.
