And for as much time as you spend on here, all day, every day, you can't possibly be working ANY harder than those you lump together and chastise.
Something tells me you don't know many CEOs either. Do you - and am I mistaken?

I know many CEOs.

Most work much harder than I do. The CEOs of the 2 companies I work for certainly do. I am guessing neither have 6 hours a day to dedicate to posting fabricated/exaggerated stories on messageboards.

Q lumps the 10-20 CEOs from large companies that he dislikes and thinks provide "nothing of value" in with all the other CEOs who maybe have companies with 20 or 50 or 100 employees (or whatever).

The majority of CEOs aren't like Elon Musk. The majority of CEOs aren't golden spoon kids who were given companies by their parents.

If only all these companies knew how much value Qusdahl would provide they wouldn't need those CEOs. He's so much smarter than all these people that he can't seem to get ahead of in life. It's the system holding him down/back.

Poor guy. Just can't catch a break. Well, other than being born as a white male in the United States of America.

Fully admit I wasn't originally on the same page as you and mistook your tone.

In order of what you posted.

1. I was mistaken. You do know many CEOs.
2. I agree, most probably work harder than you do.
3. I don't know about your CEOs (and why you have 2) but my guess is if they wanted to - they could find 6 hours a day (off and on) to post on this site.
4. I can't speak for "Q" but if he feels most CEOs don't work hard then he's mistaken.
5. I believe no one is like Elon Musk. I may not agree that the majority of CEO's aren't/weren't golden spoon kids but I do agree most weren't given companies by their parents.
6. My guess is "Q" would add value to a lot of companies - but they would still need CEOs. My guess is he isn't smarter than many CEOs but he's probably smarter than more than you think he is. Yes, the "system" holds him down. To what degree and can he overcome it? Those questions I can't answer.
7. Believe it or not, being born a white male in the USA can have some negative impact/s in one's life.

Right, as far as when you are born - but after that, SOME people change their skin color, gender, nationality, and parents.
Unfortunately, in this country (and most (all?) others) there are disadvantages in regards to your race, gender, religion, etc. Including being a white male.

illy, even if I COULD read your posts cuz others quote you despite being on ignore, I still can't understand a thing you say, cuz your mouth is so full of CEO genitals.

re: white males, that's quite a can of worms! But in the context of this thread and particular discussion, I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess there aren't many CEOs who AREN'T white males, are there?

Here is some data. If you actually care. Which I doubt you do.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/109 ... ed-states/

So, there are "many" CEOs who aren't white males. And the number is growing each year.

illy, if you really want to engage me, you're still gonna have to do something to get yerself unignored.

And besides, even if you weren't on ignore, I can't understand you when your words on this matter are not words, so much as they are more just a series of rhythmic slurps and gargles.

how is that ad hominem?

either way, remember what fuss you raised after that one time I called you a nazi?

just ask yourself: how much of that shit would you be willing to put up with? For how long? If I was repeatedly accusing you of calling you a nazi.

Illy did as much to me, by repeatedly accusing me of being racist even though I repeatedly denied and condemned it, and by repeatedly accusing me of using the N word despite repeatedly failing to produce any examples of me doing so when requested.

How much of that shit should I be willing to put up with?

how is that ad hominem? you ignored his point and provided sources and instead said he was slurping and gurgling.....its the exact definition of ad hominem.

but it doesn't matter because nuh uh...he started it!

I'm just saying, you can't pick and choose when to play the victim and then turn around and do the same shit.

oh..
and you have repeatedly called me various things....one of them specifically as the leader of nazis no less.

You called a black person an Uncle Tom. If you don't think that is problematic, then that's on you.

I believe you referred to Clarence Thomas as Clarence Uncle Thomas. That's just cringey and unnecessary. It's not funny to me. Maybe others enjoy casually racist humor, but not me.

dangit mich.

sorry if I offended you, illy. I know you're like sooo sincerely concerned about racism and all. #WokeIlly

But, again, if you aren't familiar with what an "Uncle Tom" is, I suggest you seek understanding.

cuz yea, I called a black person an Uncle Tom. But, yea, I DO also think that's problematic. But it's not on me, it's on the black dude who is racist against his own fellow black community.

(BTW, Thomas has a whopping 18% approval rating among African Americans.

https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opi ... a-n1293162)

and besides, that one disputed comment is hardly the only time you've accused me of racism. If I may prove it, allow me to ask AGAIN:

when did I ever say the N word?

I've never intentionally played the victim card, even when the rest of the bored at large is otherwise going full-on radical militant in the war thread.

what have I repeatedly called you?

Ignorant? yea I guess, but you've never disputed that or offered anything to counter the accusation otherwise.

I just think it's funny that Illy would rather Stan for CEOs and slob billionaire knobs, than have any actual class solidarity. He's got more in common with homeless people than he does with billionaires, but he doesn't even realize that, does he?

but, since illy brought it up tho, and since his post was quoted thus exposing me to it despite ignoring him, and since you keep dragging me into this illy beef despite me trying to avoid it, let's ask illy 5 questions of the day!

1. how many CEOs do you really know? How many is "many?" Feel free to be as exact or as estimated as you'd please
2. what exactly DO the CEOs do for the companies who employ you, anyway? Please be as specific as you're able to be. Can you think of an example of a time when all would have been lost, if not for the CEO being there? Or, for that matter, vice versa...can you think of any times the CEO just arbitrarily complicated things? Or times when the rank-and-file just took some initiative to get shit done without getting the CEO expressly involved, so as to avoid the complications of micromanagement and such?
3. if the majority of CEOs are not like Elon Musk, how so?
4. if the majority of CEOs are not golden spoon kids who were given companies by their parents, then...
a. how DO they become CEOs, then?
b. do you mean to say nepotism among corporate ranks is no problem at all?
c. and is it worth distinguishing an executive officer with an ownership role?
d. cuz I think execs often are also afforded some ownership in the company who employs them, right?
5. speaking of "golden spoon kids," did you mean to prompt some bigger discussion on generational wealth? Cuz, all CEO talk aside, do you realize the number one way Mericans become evil rich people is to be a "golden spoon kid" in the first place, who really did just have their wealth given to them by their parents, rather than ever actually doing a single day of work themselves. But I'm sure you knew that, right?

bonus question:

can you give any examples of a CEO whose compensation can be demonstrably justified by their productivity? e.g. if the CEO is making, say, 300x the income as the average worker at the same company, can you demonstrate the CEO really works 300x as hard?

I'd be careful admitting that bro, lest Illy accuses you too of being some kinda golden spoon kid...
