I’m trying to remain positive but it is infuriating how this season has gone after they started out 5-0. Dumb mistakes over and over again.

Yeah, I expected even when we were 5-0 that 6 or 7 wins was our ceiling, but the way we’ve lost is getting discouraging. The first half of the season we allowed like 1 sack, few penalties, overall played above our talent level by being disciplined. This game, Baylor, even TCU with the terrible first half that got Daniels hurt and a 14 point swing, all mistake-filled winnable games. Then last week against Texas looked like a 2009-21 team. I hope we get healthy and get at least a semi-cupcake in the bowl game to get 7 wins and go into the offseason with some positivity.

I’m fine with getting my ass beat but the miscues are what bother me. They have gotten worse and worse. That is 1000% coaching.

Let's be honest, Kansas is still near the bottom of the Big 12 when it comes to talent from the top to the bottom of the playing rotation. They are a lot better than they were but they still have a lot more catching up to do. KU has a lot of I juries and just doesn't have the depth to handle it without getting exposed.

But they do have some players who are definitely good at this level. Just not enough of them yet. That will 100% improve over the next 2 seasons, which will be fun to watch.
