15 more practices and a bowl game coming up. Is a bowl game against mizzou out of the question? Feels like First Responder Bowl is a good bet. Going to try and make it.

Will have some guys healthy that we haven't seen in awhile. Will probably see some guys we've hardly or never seen yet. Bowl games are weird, but I bet this staff will be out to win the game.

On another note, for what it's worth, we had the 4th toughest schedule according to Sagarin this season.

The final record of the worst team they faced was 4-8. And that 4-8 Iowa State team lost some close games to Baylor, kstate, KU, Texas and Texas Tech.

Just an overall strength of the Big 12 showing there.

Schedule was backloaded and lack of depth rears its head in the 2nd half of seasons.

Big 12 strength may wane right when we are trying to recruit and develop talent/depth. Could be good timing.

And, has anyone else heard KU to SEC chatter?

Obviously, it's not my preferred, but it would be in a scenario similar to the SEC just adding most of the old Big 8 to their conference. It would probably feel more like home than this new Big 12. A little more stomachable, and an absolute shit-ton of money.

Kenny Logan was a disappointment. Watching him live and on TV he seemed a step slow. Injuries, or it looked like he put on more weight.

So we're only a couple days away from finding out our bowl game destination. Buzz is heavy right now that the Liberty Bowl wants KU. They're the 5th bowl in the Big 12 pecking order and sounds like they might be trying to set up KU vs. Mizzou. The Guaranteed Rate Bowl in Phoenix also seems like a possibility. Both would be a step up from the last couple weeks where I was thinking it'd be the First Responders Bowl in Dallas.
