Re: Know Yer Phoe: Arkansas
might have to smoke some pork spare ribs for the game
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Know Yer Phoe: Arkansas
I watched a podcast or two from their fans. They are completely in the dark about KU football. They are focusing on the UT and KSU games and the end of the season after injures had zapped the team. They should be focused on the OSU game after rest. KState was a lot closer than they realize. UT was a dumpster fire for all the usual reasons when 5-Star athletes are embarrassed. I read that Hishaw might return for the game incidentally.

KU announced they've sold out of their allotment of tickets and they're still accepting requests and getting more tickets from the Liberty Bowl. I think they got 15-20K in first window.
Arkansas is going to have a ton of fans. KU won't be far behind though.

In any case, winning this game would give us some more respect and a little more recruiting juice.

Who you play you can't control. Tom Brady celebrated just as hard beating the Chiefs without OL starters. Keep sawing the wood. . .

Arkansas ran for 394 yards. Without their all SEC RB.pdub wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 8:50 am I think, considering we are one of the worst teams in the nation at defending the run, we could be in trouble here, even with their starting center opting out.
Texas ran for 427 yards against us in Lawrence.
While I don't expect that to happen again, you could reasonably see them putting up 300 and if that happens, I can't see us winning.
Hold em under 250, limit the turnovers, and I could see us just getting by in a close one.
What I didn’t expect was Daniels to throw for 544 yards.
