A Moroccan opponent has not scored a goal against them all tournament.
I'm rooting for them to not allow a goal their next two games.

United States midfielder Giovanni Reyna was almost sent home from the World Cup in Qatar due to a lack of effort in training and in a pre-tournament scrimmage against Qatari side Al Gharafa SC, sources told ESPN on Sunday.

Wouldn't be a fan, but I would get it because US Soccer.

Here's what likely happens. US renews Berhalter, they host the 2024 Copa America. They don't do well. GGG is fired. Jesse Marsch comes on to finish out the cycle.
I think he's out sooner than later, now.

I just still laugh that he chose Jordan freaking Morris for "speed and power" to wrap up the Wales game. Yes that same Jordan Morris who has had 2 ACL tears.

Damn it, CnB, I said I was done for a while.

You received new evidence today, so it's ok to open the file back up.

Good call on penalty. And a great penalty taken there.

As I've said, my BIL from Croatia but Argentina was +100 to win this morning, so I had to take it. If Argentina holds on, my wallet is bigger. If Croatia wins, my BIL will be pumped and his tiny country with the population of Oklahoma is playing for a World Cup Title.

Great run. 2-0 Argentina.

Very OK with this. Last thing I wanted to see was a Morocco-Croatia final. Nothing against them, I just want the big matchup.

Messi vs. Mbappe is just a dream matchup for so many. Saturday afternoon my rooting interests in order were: England, France, Argentina, Croatia, Morocco. Would be as ideal of a final as I could ask for if it is FRA-ARG.

I do feel like Modric deserves a lifetime achievement award, but probably not as much as Messi.

Probably playing his best soccer. From facilitating to controlling the ball to playmaking and then finishing the penalties.

Just outstanding.

He was the little engine that could for the tiny country. Just an outstanding player for the last decade-plus.

But Croatia doesn't quit. Don't be surprised if they get a quick one in the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half.

Not sure. But I placed one of my biggest bets on it.

That Argentina team beats about anyone. Croatia's old legs just ran out of juice.
