Re: Kansas vs indiana (official gamethread)
Who thought putting "phog" on the back of the shorts was a good idea?

MARTIN!!
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?
Re: Kansas vs indiana (official gamethread)
Cam Martin with the garbage 3 to get it back over 20. Love it.
Re: Kansas vs indiana (official gamethread)
Lineup has some clarity, looks like Ejiofor has won the back up big man role, Pettiford is sixth man. Just need to figure out JCL role between Yes and Rice
Re: Kansas vs indiana (official gamethread)
Good to see Cam drain one.

Just a video I found on YouTube. Raw, but not too bad.

Why? My dad is from Kansas City. His brother and sister live in Kansas City. We had season tickets for about 20+ years until I graduated college and moved to South Carolina for a few years. Now that my kids are old enough for games, "we" (my parents, aunt, and uncles) will probably become season ticket holders again.Overlander wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 12:51 pmI have to call bullshit on this oneBasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 12:22 pm
i have been going to KU games since I was 4 or 5 years old.
My first games were during the Adonis Jordan era in 91 or 92. We met some students at my first game who were friends with Adonis and Rex. For a year or two after, until they graduated, they wrote me letters and sent me signed team photos and different stuff. Pretty cool one of a kind memorabilia to have.

I am amazed at the blockouts and rebounding again. And the patient passing when the team is locked in.

There was a drone shot at tipoff time that pretty much confirms the Phog was full and juiced.twocoach wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 12:05 pmMy guess is that 7 minutes prior to tip like in that pic that it looked like that multiple times and you just didn't notice or you don't recall because it's a random thing from 20+ years ago.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 11:57 amThat picture makes me sad.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 11:54 am
That’s GA overfill section. It’s better filled in now, but still some empties.
Either way, I think the dorms closed last night.
In the late 90s and early 2000s when I went to multiple games per month I don't think I ever saw something like that.
Especially not for the biggest non con home game of the season. On a Saturday. With no ice storm or some special circumstance.

man that was a fun game. The ball moves so well, this team passes very well. KJ is undersized but our rotations and on ball D are coming together nicely for mid December. Dajuans bounce pass to Bobby on the break was vintage Magic vision. Dajuan is in total control with his vision, he sees 3 plays ahead. He is fun to watch for anyone who watches the game and understands anything besides scoring. Team is playing above my expectations for this point in the season. That may be an overreaction to a good game....but...for today thats true.
