Have you ever wanted to throw $99 in a fire, just to watch it burn?

No, but in the early 90s I was fucked up and made a poor decision to wipe my ass with a $100 bill - because I could? I'm still to this day wondering why.
Probably got more shit on my hand than the bill. I know, too much info and you didn't ask.

Sorry, back to The Donald and his big announcement/s.....
That was mine I guess I felt the need to share.

Rubes gonna rube, for sure, but something smells funky here.

This is the sort of thing one would only do...if (alone or in combination) (1) one needed cash in a hurry; (2) one needed to launder cash in a hurry, and/or (3) one was not intending on actually running for President.

Why (3)? Because this is a zero-sum game, and this absolutely sucks rube funds away from actual campaign use.

I'd also note that fucking around willy-nilly with NFTs is an excellent way to find yourself cross with the SEC.

I read an article recently that pointed out that while he was president there was a dedicated team of professionals following president doofus around making sure he didn't go off the rails. After all, he did have access to the nuclear football. Now he has a team of his own choice that is on his payroll, smaller and more dedicated to making him happy. Sycophants only need apply. When every idea elicits applause from the cheerleaders, the bullshit doesn't get filtered.

I don't think our military leaders would carryout an unwarranted nuclear attack order from Trump.

This article, you mean?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national ... residency/
Though few rules guide the life of a former president, Trump has exhibited a characteristic disinterest in following any of them. These days, he is served almost exclusively by sycophants, having replaced successive rounds of loyal yet inexperienced aides with staffers even more beholden and novice.

Natalie Harp, one of Trump’s employees and a former host on the pro-Trump cable network One America News, often accompanies Trump on his daily golf outings, riding the course in a golf cart equipped with a laptop and sometimes a printer to show him uplifting news articles, online posts or other materials.

On some quiet days, another aide, Molly Michael, who served as Trump’s assistant in the White House, has called around to Trump’s network of allies across the country requesting that they dial the former president to boost his spirits with positive affirmations. There’s nothing going on, she has told them, adding that his friends know how restless he gets when nothing is going on, according to people who have heard her appeal.

[...]

Trump took time to readjust to his post-presidential life. He was surprised by how much his Secret Service detail and motorcade had shrunk. He no longer had use of a major aircraft; Air Force One was unavailable to him, and his company’s TRUMP-emblazoned Boeing 757 was in the shop — repairs that took years, with delays that infuriated him. His living spaces were far smaller than the White House. And he was annoyed that his statements to the press were not getting much attention, four advisers said.

At one point in early 2021, Trump asked a team of advisers if he could summon a press pool — like the contingent of reporters, photographers and videographers who travel with the president — for an event at his Florida club. But there was no pool on call because he was no longer president.

“We had to explain to him that he didn’t have a group standing around waiting for him anymore,” one former aide said.

Instead, they gathered the few reporters who happened to be reporting in Palm Beach, two people familiar with the matter said.
What a small, pathetic man. My 15-year-old and 12-year-old kids have more self-esteem. And my four-year-old joins them in being smarter.

…According to Daily Mail, the majority of the 4,500 digital trading cards already sold by trump “appear to be based on unlicensed, copyrighted photos.”

Even more shocking are the allegations many images were taken straight from high-profile companies such as Men’s Warehouse, Amazon, and Walmart…

That was my first reaction and then I realized I'm probably an idiot for not buying one/some/many - when they were at their low value and then selling them at their high value.
