The way a lot of libs these days are tho, if you try to remain neutral or unbiased, you get labeled an extremist. Anything besides full agreement with their perspective is deemed wrong and hateful. That isn't the case

bs
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Tyson and Smithfield, to name just two, are majority Chinese owned.

To your first point, I kinda wonder if the whole thing about giving free reign to certain posters who were previously banned for constantly posting the same dumb shit they constantly post now, is another chapter in the tragedy of mods sabotaging their own site for the sake of dying on the NIL hill. Or something.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 9:22 amI don't think the lack of traffic on the sports boards and the high traffic on these types of threads are completely unrelated. On top of that, the boring and tiring fights that a few posters constantly have with ousdahl on every board.
To your second point, uh, no comment.

Its also been as uneventful stretch of a basketball season as I can remember in a long time. 1 game per week for 3 straight weeks has been weird

The Missouri game was fun, but yeah, it's going to be boring until January gets rolling. This KU team is far better than I thought they would be. I'm not an expert on KU bball.

I am thinking not only about what they said but what they didn't.randylahey wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 6:59 am I've posted many things and their approach has been to try to discredit the person who said it. Instead of just thinking about what they said
Were you more likely to have a severe case or die from your initial infection if you were unvaccinated? Yes, it seems to be the case.
Are you more likely to be better protected if you have both been vaccinated AND survived a bout of COVID? That data doesnt seem to be included. Why, I have no idea.
Everyone on the planet alive today is in one of these groups:
1) Never been vaccinated and have never had COVID
2) Never been vaccinated and have had COVID
3) Have been vaccinated but have not received any or all available boosters and have never had COVID
4) Have been vaccinated but have not received any or all available boosters and have had COVID
5) Have been vaccinated and have received all available boosters and have never had COVID
6) Have been vaccinated and have received all available boosters and have had COVID
Why a single study does not compare ALL of these groups is beyond me.

I believe what she is saying. I just dont believe in the conclusions you are drawing from her statement.StayCurious wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 11:22 amrandylahey wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 6:57 am They won't listen to anything tucker has to say. He's on the other team

Fun but also anticlimactic. Same thing with Indiana. We beat the shit out of them. Not much to discuss there. Different look, took awhile to adjust to not having a centerStayCurious wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 11:45 am The Missouri game was fun, but yeah, it's going to be boring until January gets rolling. He consistently provides a racist, homophobic message on his show. He may not share those views personally but he sells those messages to his audience regularly.randylahey wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 10:23 am Tucker Carlson was critical of the blm riots and was labeled a racist
He was critical of gender affirming/transitioning and was labeled a homophobe
Neither is fair. Its ok to be critical of things that are controversial
As far as I know he's never done a single thing that is actually racist or homophobic

Being called racist by liberals doesn't mean much anymore. The little boy cried wolf anthe little liberal cried racist too many times
Re: Conspiracies
You're the ones whining about the fact there isn't much basketball talk on the basketball board. So talk basketball on the basketball board. It seems pretty simple.randylahey wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 12:24 pmTwocoach: "don't bring basketball into the off topic board" lolololtwocoach wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 12:07 pmviewforum.php?f=2randylahey wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 12:02 pm

Thank you for confirming you didn't read the link I provided earlier. Like many things involved with USA Today, that headline is ridiculous and lazy.randylahey wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 12:29 pm Being called racist by liberals doesn't mean much anymore. The little boy cried wolf anthe little liberal cried racist too many times
Does there need to be a conversation about how repetition-intensive learning like math and science need to be taught to students who have less of a support system at home due to single parent homes where that parent works evening hours and is unavailable to help the student do productive reps? Yes.
Is it a disproportionately large percentage of minority students in that situation? Also yes.

Re: Conspiracies
Twocoach stop being a wet blanket. A different poster mentioned the off topic boards being a lot busier than the actual basketball boards. I have zero problem with basketball talk finding its way into the off topic boards.
Why do you? I wouldn't want off topic on the basketball boards, but basketball trickling onto the off topic board on a ku board... why would anyone have a problem with that lol
