Conspiracies
Re: Conspiracies
How do you guys even tie your shoes in the morning, what with the microwaves coming out of the towers, the chemtrails from the airplanes, the fluouride in the drinking water.
This is a damn scary world, it's a miracle of the human spirit that we can even THINK about things like our families and jobs and so on.

That’s why I never wear shoes with laces, my comrade! One more place for The Man to exploit for nefarious purposes. Slip-ons rule!!!!!
Re: Conspiracies
cowboy boots and muck boots/rubber boots are the only acceptable laceless shoe options.
Just Ledoux it
Re: Conspiracies
Mrs 99 gave me a pair of battery heated slippers for Christmas. Charge the batteries at night and warm tootsies all day. Pretty allsome. No laces.

Same. With as fucked up as my right foot now is after my nerve damage issue, I have found that the super stretchy tops of shoes like that are about the only thing I can tolerate wearing for extended periods of time. Now that I work from home, I barely even wear shoes any more.

Like twocoach, I am old enough now that my foot problems determine my shoe choices.
GrantStone's EEE PTB's and longwings are about the only "dress" shoes I can manage for more than an hour or two.

Really?? That's interesting. GS are very supportive, but they are a much slower break in for me than other brands.

Sorrels slippers. Buy a pair all you'll never wear anything else
Re: Conspiracies
My work/dress shoes look like these (not these) from the top but have a tougher sole.

There is also another one I wear which has a sueded look on top but also a hiking shoe-like sole. They are also not too expensive. I wear them regularly and they look good and are comfortable and rugged. Not that I never wear laced shoes - sneakers, hiking boots, formal-wear etc

I probably wear dress shoes once or twice a year.

Don't we have a "Kicks" thread for this?
