800 miles away from KC and about 900 miles away from Buffalo.

Fair for both teams in terms of neither team having an advantage. Easy to fly into as well.
If it happens (still have my doubts), first to 51?
I hate that it is in a dome actually. Both cities are cold weather cities. Let them have some fun in that weather.

But they want to showcase both offenses. It will be high scoring for sure if it gets to that point.

I hear ya, but my god what a disaster it would be if weather got in the way of it logistically happening.

I would file that under "games/prizes."

Well that's why you have it in Atlanta.

I would say you have it in Atlanta because you've already decided to make shit up because you feel bad (or, more precisely, want to make the appropriate noises and gestures indicating you feel bad) for a guy.

But, mileage varies.

Maybe Atlanta was just one of the few options who said they would allow it, who knows. But it's dumb that they moved it to a neutral site to avoid negative press.

The thing that consoles me about a neutral site is that KC played at home already against the Bills and the special teams decided to show up. KC had a chance to knock the Bills off the perch. But the NFL also had a hand in that game by suspending Gay. Punishments flew against KC for teams that mattered this year.

Sports radio NE guys up here were both in agreement that the neutral location is/was bullshit a couple days ago and they generally dislike the Chiefs.

Gutter!! Gutter!! Da BEARS!!!

Da BEARS just stole Big10 commish Warren. Nice!!!!

DA BEARS have #1 pick in a NFL draft with three QB 1's in it and they do not need a QB.
Young should be rated for sure #1 which then Da Bears can apply pressure on Texan's to move up and they have the draft picks to use. Now at #2 Da Bears again apply to pressure and get the Colt's to sell the farm to get Stroud. So Da Bears sitting at #4 and the Cards pick #3 who do not need a QB. So the Cards take Will Anderson the new JJ and DA BEARS apply the pressure and get the Panthers to sell the farm.

DA BEARS getting RICH!!

Good Luck!

Bears Super Bowl! Ok, probably not for another 30+ years.
Back to the 2023 playoffs and the Chiefs.....

Bears should try to get more draft capital after trading it to the GMEN to select Fields.
Texans could be one of those bidders - but so could Carolina, Vegas, Atlanta and Indy ( and, hell, even the Jets ).

"Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams has a small, nonsurgical fracture in his back that is expected to sideline him two to three weeks, sources told ESPN's Lindsey Thiry on Friday.

Barring a Super Bowl run, Williams' season is likely over."

We really only need a 4 team per conference playoff. Think how great the last week could be.

Maybe even do a "division championship" between the end of Week 18 and start of playoffs like the MLB does in some seasons.

I guess some wild card teams have won super bowls, but adding a ton of meaning to the regular season could be fun.

6 was ideal.
You gotta have wild cards in the event where a division champ is 8-8 and a 2nd place team in another division is 11-5 ( yes, 16 games was also ideal ).

There should be an entire Oregon-Trail-themed (or Spinal-Tap-drummer-themed) meme around the Chargers' best players' propensity for fluke and catastrophic injury/illness/mishaps.

Please tell me that Williams was hurt in Week 18 when Chargers were stupidly playing starters.
