Is it weird that it now feels weird to have to wait a week for new episodes of a show?

yes
we delay even starting new series until there’s at least a few episodes already out
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I like it.
I think it’s wise by HBO.
Anticipation.

we gave in and watched Last of Us
i’m definitely intrigued (never played the game), but i’m not sure 99% on rotten tomatoes is justified based on the first episode

Re: Finding New Shit on TV
Most reviewers get a screening of several episodes if not the whole series.
99% is a high bar to set though - really nowhere to go but down.

Users giving it a 96% but that's off the first episode.KUTradition wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 9:02 ami almost added the caveat of not knowing the particulars of the rating system
I'm sure that's bolstered by a number of gamers who just love that they, so far, have stayed close to the source ( with plenty of nods ).

I don't remember setting the dvr for this but, I picked up a horrifically bad blackspoitation movie called Dolomite.
It's kinda fun. N-bombs, every line has mother fucker in it, gratuitous boobs, kung-fu chick's. Cadillac and hats, oh the hats.
Edited to add, the world's greatest little French mustache

I recorded the 1st two episodes of Night Court. Awful. Which is sad because the original was really good.
