A little bit of ice and a half inch of snow is enough to bring central KY down.
I-75 shut down, cars are not moving
I-64 shut down.
US 25 I can see from my window is not moving.

The question has always been if there is enough ice melt, does that precipitate the next cooling or ice age? Might be a good time to fly off and return to the planet of the apes in mid-movie. They have governing policies.

doesn't Mt. Washington already hold the record for strongest recorded winds?

A pipe for our heat in part of our house froze and we didn’t notice until today because our wood stove was doing such a good job.

But our basement didn’t think so.

The entire metro was completely caught with their pants down with the snow this morning. Very few clear roads.

Caught me off guard, too.

It's not lost on me that certain local officials have been very focused on parade planning the last several days.

Valentine's Day Parade? We doing that now?

I had to venture out to JoCo for work this morning and I can't believe all the cars and reports of cars in ditches. The local official you are speaking about tweeted at 4 am this morning that roads were bad like in almost a shocked demeanor. Everyone totally missed this one.
