What me worry?
Climate change is a big issue to Russia. It will give them 12 month per year access to shipping lanes in the North and longer growing seasons for their crops. No wonder Trump is fighting against Climate Change Solutions while promoting coal.

I hope you’re not losing sleep over this global warming thing. Trad you know if you would just get an electric/hybrid vehicle you could slow down this warming, just jokin’ with ya.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/30/weather/ ... index.html
Hennen described it as the "coldest air in a generation." Temperatures will plunge to 20-40 degrees below zero between Tuesday and Thursday in the Upper Midwest, Hennen said.
In northern Minnesota, wind chills were forecast to drop to 65-70 degrees below zero, which would rival the coldest wind chill ever recorded in the state (71 below) in 1982.

I know I know, it's just weather. LOL

Weather vs climate

Next ice age/natural climate cycle or man made climate change? Combo of both?

My stance is that we should be cautious and do everything we can to minimize our impact on the earth/environment.

been my response to those who don’t understand/agree with the science for years. the overwhelming majority of changes that are recommended in order to address long-term global problems will also improve local environmental conditions in the short-term

but people gotta get paid...

I think I’ve figured out what caused the polar vortex. First:

1,500 private planes going to Switzerland for climate talks.

In combination with, on January 16 of this year:

What happens even to believers if they show doubt about even an ancillary part of the theory?

“Unger says she received death threats, and that some colleagues stopped talking to her.”

Another scientist says, “I have heard scientists say that if we found forest loss cooled the planet, we wouldn’t publish it.”

Is this from some ultra-right wing website? How about the journal NATURE?

Learned from that that trees emit methane. Tree farts, anyone?
