Fantasy Football

Post by pdub »

Playing a dude at work whom I'm not the biggest fan of.
I dropped Latavius Murray thinking Cook would be OK.
He grabbed him and is using him against me.

Here's to Mahomes ( i'm sitting Brees ) throwing 4 plus TD's again.

Rocking my same lineup as last week that got me most points by a mile.

QB - Big Ben
RB - Hunt
RB - Barkley
WR - Hill
WR - JuJu
Flex - Coleman from ATL
TE - Grham
K - McManus
Def - Chicago

Bench
Cousins, Min
Barber, TB.
Ebron, Indy
Cooks, LAR
Jones Jr, Det
Edelman, NE - Think he'll be a huge help and stash for me later in the season.

Guess that's why you never should sit Brees. Ouch!

Mahomes did really well.
I woulda lost no matter what.
No Freeman. No Engram. David Johnson struggling.

And all his players sans Murray blew up.

Anyone who picked top 3 and didn't get Gurley are probably hurting so far this year. Bell owners praying for a trade, otherwise it looks like he's sitting out until week 10ish....and even then I doubt he plays very hard without a new contract.

Calvin Ridley was a late round steal.

My team is now starting to get on a roll.

Already have more points than opponent and I have Big Ben and JuJu tonight, he has Connor. Should be an easy win for my team. Will now be 2-1 with most points in the league scored.

Only done 2 leagues these past few years. Two young kiddos taking up a lot of the time I used to put into research. Did have Thielen and Woods in one league tonight, definitely a solid start to the week!

Did a last minute change to Cousins last night. Sat Big Ben. Turned out to be a good play for me to this point.

I need some wide receivers. Who are some sleepers that people aren't using in your leagues?

Shepard, Cobb, Jordy Nelson, Chris Conley (Bit of a homer pick but he's had a TD in 2 straight) Robbie Anderson from NYJ. Plenty of options there I think for you.

Gave up some RB depth but couldn’t pass:

He got Lamar Miller, Amari Cooper.
I got AJ Green, Ronald Jones II.

Who to sit this week..?

Tyreek or Edelman

I'm so torn. Indy is without like 4 starters on defense, but it is also Edelman's first game back so he could be rusty. Hill likely paired up against Ramsey all game, but Jags have struggled with the deep ball as a unit and that's what Hill can do the best. JuJu and Cooks are my absolute plays this week, but so torn on the other guys.

PWhitt.. You stole that trade. Big time.

The guy needed a RB.
Lamar Miller can be his no. 2 for the season.

I don't think I could ever sit Tyreek because of his blow up potential - he had what, 9 catches last week?

I too have Edelman and am debating him vs. John Brown from Baltimore.

Right now I have Hill in there, but have flipped a lot. Hill has also been under 55 yards the last 2 games.. Mine is .5 PPR. Will be debating right up until kickoff tonight.

But you have a really tough choice. Brown had a low catch game, but high yards. That's been his game. Go deep and let Flacco bomb it to you. But Edelman will likely get 10 catches this week. So if you have PPR, it's an even tougher choice.

I'm PPRless.
I'm very anti-PPR.
It's never made sense to me that a catch should be worth anything by itself.

If it was PPR, i'd roll with Edelman - but as you said, with Brown, he can get yards in chunks, and, I didn't watch the game last week, apparently he was close to a couple more long TDs.

Edelman doesn't score TD's but he has a pretty safe floor.

Freeman. Fournette. Engram. Eifert.
Now Hyde is traded to Jax leaving TJ Yeldon irrelevant.
Great things happening for me this season.
