Randy gets his ideas from people he calls "highly qualified" and yet he has no clue who they are and what makes them "highly qualified" to speak about the things they do.

I laughed too. You know why?BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 8:23 pm

randy saying Dr. Deepti Gurdasani (again, someone he has no clue who they are) is "obviously a fucking moron" is pure gold.
I'll bet my yearly salary vs. his $5 she has a higher IQ than randy does.

Right about lab leak? Not confirmed. And probably never will be.
Right about natural immunity? Not really. Yes it turns out a Covid vaccine wasn’t as effective as immunity but contracting Covid for the first time comes with risk, yes, we understand you don’t consider the risk high but it was high enough to kill a lot of people.
Right about masks? No. Unless the argument is forcing people to wear them which I was always on the fence with.
Right about the lockdown? Well it would have worked in theory but I was and am more adamant against this type of enforcement even more than the masks.
Right about the vaccines? No.
Right about the boosters? No.
Right about faking Covid numbers? Proof?
Right about deadly hospital protocol? Wut?
Right about ivermectin? No. Lol.
Right about evil Dr Fauci? Lolz.
Evil Dr Who? You’ve lost it.
World power grab? See above.
So possibly right on 4/12 depending on what you’re saying you’re right about, which is still an F.

Fine. The hard truth is becoming harder to ignore. Covid is a scientifically enhanced virus. Covid is a bioweapon. It was done for political reasons, and it was very effective
There are dangerous malevolent people governing world politics. Its a scary concept

I know that everyone chooses their own reality, but citing top 100 Twitter influencers is a special niche.

The lab leak theory is important to the True Believer Rube, because it is a necessary support for the True Believer Rube’s overarching conspiracy theories.
Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
I wouldn’t put the 2020 pandemic being an accidental release of bio weapon research out of the realm of possibility but it certainly shouldn’t be the highest possibility on the list and absolutely shouldn’t be marked as a fact.
Then to think China released it on purpose on their own citizens only so it could spread worldwide? Come on.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
I believe it’s quite plausible that it was an accidental lab leak of a man-made (or man-modified) virus.
But you used the word “accidental.” Randy would not.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
Modified virus doesn’t immediately mean bio weapon either.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
heard a pretty good analogy yesterday…
suppose a new infectious disease emerged in the Caribbean. it’s detected in Atlanta initially because, well, it’s such a regional (and global) travel hub. what’s a major, international narrative likely to be? would the US allow china, or others, into the CDC to tour our labs and collect their own data? fuck no
this by no means makes apologies for china’s lack of transparency
the US intelligence community is fairly evenly divided on their assessments, but the majority of non-governmental virologists, epidemiologists, and the lack favor a natural spillover event. it’s hilarious that folks who distrust the gov’t all of a sudden trust certain branches of gov’t…because of evidence? nah…because they’re more comfortable with that narrative, and because it makes them feel special
those folks are, indeed special…just not in the way they think

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

It’s a life lived in service of a ridiculous narrative. Just disordered thinking.KUTradition wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 7:12 am heard a pretty good analogy yesterday…

It’s easy to laugh at all of the Fox News smoking guns, but there are countless American families whose relationships have been ruined by the exploitative poison.
