Curious that they are ignoring the fact that the Department of Energy report clearly stated that they believed that the leak was unintentional. So shocking that they pick and choose which parts of the claim are valid and which are not depending solely on whether they support their personal opinions.KUTradition wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 4:40 pmand randy laps it up

FWIW, the FBI actually says it has "moderate" confidence.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 4:13 pmThat isn't what they are saying. Its just interesting that EVEN they are saying it came from a lab now. A theory I've been considering for years and was criticized on her for by some of you

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
May 7, 2020 President Trump’s campaign began its 2020 effort against Joe Biden last month with a highly deceptive ad aimed at arguing that Biden was too soft on China.
But now, a new revelation reinforces just how soft Trump was on China when it arguably mattered most — at the start of the coronavirus outbreak.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Trump was advised twice in January to press China to be more transparent about the outbreak in Wuhan. But Trump ignored the advice:
Early this year, several of Mr. Trump’s political advisers inside and outside the campaign urged him to take on China more directly, which they argued would have bipartisan appeal. One idea they suggested was a special commission to investigate the origins of the virus and whether Beijing responded sufficiently to control the outbreak.
Mr. Trump twice declined suggestions from his team in January to press [Chinese President] Xi [Jinping] for more transparency about the virus’s causes and symptoms, in one case saying that the criticism could cause Beijing to be less helpful, said White House officials.
In fact, Trump didn’t just decline the suggestions; he actually went in the opposite direction. Trump repeatedly praised China’s coronavirus response through late February. And on two different occasions, he actually vouched for China’s transparency, despite the advice.

"lab leak" and "lab made" are very much not the same thing... Right?

The goal posts have moved so much they had to be replaced by new goal posts on a different field. The narrative has been shifting this for 3 years nowBasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 4:41 pmEh, they've moved quite a bit in many aspects.twocoach wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 4:36 pmThe goal posts aren't moving at all..randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 4:30 pm Liberals have moved the goal posts so far on covid we are playing on a different field now.
Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
To be fair, of course things have shifted and evolved. That was to be expected.
But some of the blame game type stuff in the media and ineffective pushing of vaccines and blaming unvaccinated for the pandemic definitely didn't turn out to be as true as people made it seem at the time.
I remember Rachel Maddow saying plenty of shit that looking back was wrong and unnecessarily divisive.
I think most of the time stuff was done with good intentions, but we are so divided that when one side makes a mistake the other side must relentlessly throw it in their face.
I see both sides of it. Shocker, I know.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
This all started as "2 weeks to flatten the curve" that was the original goal posts.
Then came forced masking, continued forced shutdowns of businesses, people lost their businesses and jobs because of a crashed economy that wasn't allowed to reopen. The shutdowns and masking were nowhere nearly as effective as advertised. People predicted it.
Then came trial vaccines. People were afraid there would be mandates, they were labeled conspiracy theorists for that, they were right. Businesses in all sorts of various fields mandated the vaccines and peoples lost their jobs for wanting bodily autonomy to make their own health choices.
The vaccines were rushed out and promised to be safe and effective. People questioned that, were called conspiracy theorists for that, they were right. Fauci/biden said word for word that if you get vaccinated you won't get covid. There was no science to back that, it was a lie it wasn't even tested to see if the vaccine would stop the spread.
People that played along and got vaxxed w were having health complications, they were censored, their posts about their real life experiences removed from big tech platforms. But when people said that big tech is censoring them, they were called conspiracy theorists. They were right about it, later was proven big tech WAS controlling the narrative. When people said the vaccine isn't necessarily safe and there are risks, they were called conspiracy theorists, and yet again they were right. The vaccine has proven health complications.
Faucci said he had nothing to do with funding research on gain of function on viruses, people said he was, they were called conspiracy theorists, and yet again they were right.
The scary aspect to some of all of this is whether or not covid is a product of lab research/manipulation. People suspected it was from a lab, they were called conspiracy theorists, and YET AGAIN they were right.
Youve been lied to time and time again. Its a proven record, and still some of you are unwilling to question things, its pure insanity.
So tell me again... how have the goal posts not moved????

I hesitate to even engage with this True Rubery, but you need to bring some evidence. Maybe you could start by showing where Fauci or Biden ever said, one single time, that if you got the vaccines that were developed that you wouldn’t get Covid.randylahey wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 6:37 pm This all started as "2 weeks to flatten the curve" that was the original goal posts.

Biden said this publicly on multiple occasions. The liberal media echo chamber said it every where for awhile when they were trying to convince everyone to get vaccinated
