Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Look at how bad inflation has been over the past several decades. Young adults can't afford to buy houses anymore

And in the middle of this dems and pubs are coming together tax their citizens and send it elsewhere. To create money that doesn't exist and magnify inflation
Why would anyone agree with foreign aid right now?
Why do we have such an interest in Ukraine? Whats the real reason. Someone else say it

Yes. Decades. Do some research. About a century. Since the creation of the federal reserve the American dollar has lost over 90 percent of its domestic purchasing powerFeral wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 4:08 pm"decades"?.randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 3:01 pm Look at how bad inflation has been over the past several decades. So, you're advocating for a US economy with a zero rate of inflation?randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 4:35 pmYes. Decades. Do some research. About a century. The point is the standard of living in the US has been falling off decade after decade. The cost of food homes educations is inflating muchhhh higher than wages. Taxes continue to rise.Feral wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 6:27 pmSo, you're advocating for a US economy with a zero rate of inflation?randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 4:35 pmYes. Decades. I'm not going to explain basic economics to you. You realize that the prices of education, housing, food, are inflating much quicker than wages, and thats been going on in this country for decades rightMjl wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 8:05 pmI can't get over how dumb this is.randylahey wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 7:04 pmThe point is the standard of living in the US has been falling off decade after decade.
