Not really, unfortunately. The tournament is too much of a crap shoot for me to feel like it is a good way to determine the best team.

My top 4 would be:
Houston
Bama
Kansas
Purdue


But there's a good chance the eventual national champion is not in that group.

You've been doing this for months. We get it. I don't see the point of trying to constantly point out deficiencies whenever someone is too positive about something to a board full of kansas fans who already know our deficiencies.

And the fact still remains we have the most good wins of anyone. 1 seed. 3rd best odds to win it all.

I think the guys who set the odds and brackets have a better idea of who is a top 4 team than PDub. But opinions are allowed, albeit overrated.

Those are Fanduel odds. I'm wondering when the last time the favorite was +550 (or more).
On Feb 14th I got Houston +650, Bama +850, KU +1300, Texas +2500, Tennessee +2500.
When was the last time an ACC team won 9 in a row (including the ACC Tournament) and was +2900?

KU isn't worse than 3rd (odds wise) anywhere I am seeing, but at this point there are so many places I only check the big ones. Tied for 2nd best odds at a few sportsbooks.


As a gambler, I think it's hard to think it's a worthwhile bet for anyone with odds under +1200 in a format like this.

If we ran this upcoming tournament 10 times I think we'd have at least 8 or 9 different champions.

That's not really going out on a limb considering last season there were two double digit seeds in the Elite 8.

Final Four - 3 top 3 seeds and the 4th will be nothing worse than a 6. Book it.
I do believe a 1 seed will lose to an 8 or 9 or a 2 seed will lose to a 7 or 9 or a 3 seed will lose to a 6 or 11.

B. Our second best player isn't as good as their best player - and thankfully no one died.
