Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
we’re all laughing at you now
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

This study covers from the last week of 2020 when vaccinations started until the 3rd week of 2022. These numbers are from Poland but use a US approved vaccine.
Number of deaths in each age range for unvaccinated vs 2x vaccinated.
For 80+: 1 in 22 unvaccinated died; vs 1 in 315 vaccinated
For 70-79: 1 in 29 vs 1 in 1,000
For 60-69: 1 in 100 vs 1 in 3,300
For 50-59: 1 in 378 vs 1 in 11,100
It largely was a pandemic for the unvaccinated. When hospitals were filling up and exceeded capacity, it wasn't because of the vaccinated.

In this cross-sectional study of US adults hospitalized with COVID-19 during January 2022 to April 2022 (during Omicron variant predominance), COVID-19-associated hospitalization rates were 10.5 times higher in unvaccinated persons and 2.5 times higher in vaccinated persons with no booster dose, respectively, compared with those who had received a booster dose.

So, from this data set…we can draw the conclusion that horse pills CAUSE Covid?

Well many people are saying that there’s no definitive proof that horse pills DON’T cause Covid. Not me, I’m just asking questions.Overlander wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 12:19 pm So, from this data set…we can draw the conclusion that horse pills CAUSE Covid?

Well, i finally caught the fungus. Wouldn't really even know I am sick other than finding out both of my parents are also positive, so I took a test.
Guess I'll be watching a lot of basketball over the next 7 days.

My only symptoms so far as loss of appetite and some muscle aches. I thought I just slept weird or something, but apparently not.
Since my parents both have it, I have moved back into their basement (my old room) for a few days to hopefully avoid my kids and wife getting it. But, both kids have been in bed with me the last 2 nights watching TV, so I am guessing they'll also be positive in a day or two. Thankfully they have spring break next week so hopefully won't have to miss a bunch of school if they get sick.

Been a LONG time since I've spent the night at my parents, over a decade. I don't think I was on the boreds then.Overlander wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 5:56 pmSo…posting from your moms basement?BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 5:44 pmThank you.

Sorry to hear that but it couldn't have come at a better time. Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
so the kids school here has no protocol anymore other than no active fever. So...you can be on day 2 and go back to school if your temp is normal. Hasn't been an issue, its a small school. But that surprised me.

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
Sorry you have the fungus - BJ/Illi!
Yesterday I had a co-worker stand about 2 feet away from me and start showing me pics on her phone. I wasn't happy - regardless of her health.
As she was talking she said, "You know how I've been sick. I went to Urgent Care yesterday and they told me I have a double sinus infection".
I gave her a death stare and she didn't take the hint. I got up and walked away disgusted. Other co-workers could see I was clearly pissed off. I told a few of them what was up and some actually defended her. That's when I realized I have TWO choices and only TWO choices. I can either tell my employer that I quit or put up and shut up and just remain frustrated that I work with assholes/morons.
I have to have a minor surgical procedure tomorrow. If I am sick I can't have it done. If I am sick and can't have it done it will take some restraint for me to not go apeshit on her.

based upon all your stories. it's possible you are the @$$hole/moron. you are the common denominator.

Gutter seems to be a bit of a germaphobe but I've seen no evidence that he/she/they is an @$$hole/moron.
Good luck on the procedure Gutter, make sure the doc washes his/her/their hands.
