I started reading Life 3.0 by Max Tegmark, it's all about AI, and I recommend it to everyone. It's very Socratic, giving an unbiased breakdown of the opinions, concerns, and hopes related to where this world is going with AI. Gives you a lot to think about and will make you question your current take on it no matter where you currently stand on it.

This position is also discussed in the aforementioned book. And not in a negative way.

Unfortunately, I feel that ultimately, to stay competitive in the market, you will need to learn and utilize these "tools". To me, it's dehumanizing.

The top US general says technology is changing the ways that ward are being fought.

He said that robots will play a huge role in the world’s armies, navies, and air forces within the next decade or so.

Gen. Mark Milley also highlighted the role of artificial intelligence as a military application.

Can't say I agree with the techies often but yes...please just stop. Id rather go back to horse and buggy than go to an AI automated society.
