so, yea, I know there ARE things that are more important than basketball

and the allegations surrounding Wiggins are pretty heavy

but, at what point do you gotta just get back to life? At what point is it better, even healthier, to just get back to life?

and, in some general sense, how often can a worker/employee just take off indefinitely cuz of some personal drama? What professions allow that? Heck, what basic entry level jobs allow that?

tho I feel for him regardless...

at what point do grown men stop worrying about the personal lives of other grown men that they don’t know personally?
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Your question can have both positive and negative connotations.
I wish no ill will on the man so while I am more worried about what I am going to have for dinner than I am about Wiggins' personal life, I do care about him and what is going on with him - a smidgen.
Should I admit a small wager on the Warriors to win the 2023 Championship MAY have a SMALL bearing on that?

I agree.
I feel the obsessive fascination is both silly and somewhat alarming - when people are genuinely angry about it/him.

Although he strikes me as emotionally distant, he's kind of cute, in a wispy, whimsical, sort of way.

Sorry! One of our friendly members on this site refers to Covid as - "The fungus".
Not sure why I felt the need/desire to do as such.

Any idea why Wiggins hasn't been playing? Is it just a "I got some shit going on in my life and don't feel like coming to work" kind of thing? If he was injured, they would be required to say.

Some rumors out there. I think you're probably right about him having some shit going on and him not feeling like coming to work - as well what you say in regards to the Warriors being required to divulge an injury/illness.
I get saying "personal" but it's no doubt unusual when a player and his teammates/coaches feel a need/desire to NOT say ANYTHING about what's going on. Admirable to me that his teammates and coaches have his back and are supporting & respecting him.
