Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Your forgot to mention sasquatch, the Illuminati, the 9/11 hoax and the Dulce alien base as well. All of those are valid reasons not to prosecute your beloved Il Duce.

And therefore the logical response is to leave him alone and let him do his thing over and over so that he can fulfill the prophecy. Nice.

I think you might overestimate the number of people who think this shitshow is reason for giggles. It is prolly proportional to the number of budding Timothy McVeighs out there ready to overthrow our government for Il Ducald. The primary fuel for the hot air balloon that is trump these days is the cowardly republicans who fear for their poll numbers if they cross him and the Randys who love a media "strong man". As much as you want to blame everyone else for creating trump, it is the republicans who put him in power and continue to make him relevant. It is a permanent stain on their brand that no amount of whataboutism will remove.

This too will pass. If you need a place to weather the storm the Empire is a pleasant place. We have our own well, high ground where we can see for miles in any direction, a limitless supply of weed, beer, shrooms, potatoes and chilies. Bring your own ammo. If the internet is still up we can watch Dr. Strangelove again on the big screen.

The Republicans, facing the flagging popularity of their platform, found themselves at a crossroads.

They could either (1) adapt to shifting American prevailing attitudes on social issues (while maintaining fidelity to longstanding conservative principles of small government, individual rights and so on), or (2) double down.

They chose Option 2.

To maintain competitiveness in national elections, Option 2 was only feasible with an expanded base. So, instead of doing the hard work of actually winning over voters, they instead mortgaged their names and reputations to Trump, who has one discernable skill: baiting, trapping and exploiting rubes.

And so, here we are. This is what the Republicans asked for.

A system where violations of the law result in indictments seems to be working as designed by the Constitution.

Will an inspirational Ted Nugent meme quench your insatiable thirst for "facts"?

Ted killed a wild boar with a bow and arrow once. That makes him a strong father figure in my mind, which is something I crave in my life.

I also vote third party. Ive said repeatedly i dont want Trump as our next president. Years of propaganda have turned him into a divisive and toxic subject, whether fair or not

But the same people who have been trying to take Trump down for years, have also been trying to bury and suppress evidence of criminal activity within their own party

Thats not how a legal system should work
