ive said this before, I'll say it again. The single all knowing entity makes perhaps the least sense. Why wouldn't there be entities in charge of various aspects of the universe?

I think I'll have some mushroom soup like the pagans or some peyote like the natives...... see who shows up to talk to me and go with that.
In the vast scheme of things, we are a tiny part of infinite vastness wanting desperately to believe we have it figured out. Mankind hates surrendering to fear and displays contemptuous mocking or diffident supplicating religiosity. But we are a few eons from understanding. Arrogance may ensure we never get there. Basketball is pretty good at diverting attention though.

"Rumor" (I don't believe ANY rumors in regard to this situation) is Wiggins' Dad is/was in bad shape.
If true, I wonder why that had to be such a secret.

You wouldn’t get much argument from most fans if he won it.

Denver is 1st in the West.
Joke has played in 68 games and is .2 assists a game from averaging a triple double. Much better FG%.
31.8 PER.

6ers 3rd in the East.
Embiid 65 games. Fewer rebounds per game. A lot fewer assists.
31.67 PER.

Bucks 1st in the East.
Giannis 63 games. More assists and more rebounds than Embiid. Better FG%. 5th in PPG.
29.13 PER.

I would give the nod here to Embiid bc he's likely to lead the league in points and is a better defender than Jokic ( but maybe not Giannis ).

Plus jokic has won 2 in a row, voter fatigue sets in. I didnt necessarily think jokic should have beat embiid out before, but its been close each year, and im biased.

I respect the hell out of jokic's offense, he's an absolute wizard. But his defense is trash, teams isolated him and put him in the pick and roll. Jokic is key to the Denver offense and system, but we all know embiid is the better player

Both embiid and jokic are generational offensive talents. But one is a defensive liability and one is a potential defensive player of the year with his ability to block shots and switch on the perimeter

This Jokic is trash on defense isn't accurate.
Very common narrative but not true.
His defensive metrics are decent to good depending on where you look.

Great defensive rebounder. One of the league leaders in deflections. Has a good amount of steals per game.

No, Embiid and Giannis are better on the ball and rim protectors but Jokic is not trash on defense.

CB playing well against the suns on TNT
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Local sports radio talking heads have good things to say about CB, say he needs more PT. Malone is on the hot seat, probably will be fired if the Nugs make an early exit in the playoffs.
