Great defensive rebounder. One of the league leaders in deflections. Has a good amount of steals per game.

No, Embiid and Giannis are better on the ball and rim protectors but Jokic is not trash on defense.
Hes not good at pick and roll. Teams will deliberately try to get him to switch and isolate him on the perimeter
