I think, regardless of who is running the country, your life will yield whatever you put into it.

I also believe, with a very high degree of certainty, that as long as corporations actually run our government…..nothing will actually change for the better for most Americans.

The end goal of corporations is profit, at any expense. There are 2 ways for a company to really affect profits:

Make higher margins on their products.

Cut expenses.

I see us in a pattern that runs loosely like this:
Elect a Democrat….slow supplies…raise prices. The illiterate and/or uninformed ( who make up a disproportionate number of voters) lose their minds and demand change.
Elect a Republican…a slight drop in prices…but a reduction in oversight and regulations create lower costs.

Rinse….repeat.
