Agreed. While this weekend may not be a big money-making venture, it's definitely setting them up to be a part of the cities like Minneapolis and Denver that you mentioned. KC is kind of on a hot streak right now with everything but the Royals and SKC. Everything else in the market is doing quite well as it comes to sports.

New airport is receiving rave reviews as well.

KC is becoming more and more the hub of the Plains region (Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa)

Yeah. I don't think people here even comprehend how staggeringly out-of-place Kansas City is, for getting one of those slots. Talk about punching above your weight.

Shit, even I forgot.

It's incredible KC got that. Just to be a part of the conversation and get at least like 4 games or whatever it is, is massive. It would have been fine if they were a host site for a country like Germany or England's home for the Cup, but to have games.

I'm going to try my ass off to get a ticket. Don't care if it's freaking Ghana vs Iceland. I just want to go.

That's the conundrum, right? I'm a Croatia supporter, and would love to see a Croatia match. But the prices for higher-profile sides like that (let alone major powerhouses) would be catastrophic.

"Packers converted $58.3 million of Aaron Rodgers' 2023 option into 2024 salary prior to trading him to the Jets.
As reported by ESPN's Dan Graziano, the conversion means Rodgers will earn $1.165 million this season with the Jets, and will be in line to earn $107.55 million next year. That's not a typo."

So, if Rodgers decides to not restructure, and wants to play, is that guaranteed?
Because....yikes.

Shields looked like he could still block for Mahomes.

I like Bijan. But he is small. Thankfully no KU highlights.

5'11. Elusive size. Eagles damned lucky. I think Bijon is a huge talent though. Carter too. But we talked about the character

Austin Ekler might be a top 3 RB and is smaller than Bijan.

He’s Dalvin Cook and Alvin Kamara size and both have been pretty solid.

Ekler avoids contact though. Bijan has run through it so far. I am cherry-picking though. Has a lot of Earl Campbell in him.
