Pretty clearly some things we don't know yet. I am okay if the Chiefs have evaluated these guys closely

I’m sure they have.
But it’s not that they selected them but that they gave up draft capital to do so when they didn’t need to.

Very very good chances both those guys would have been there at the original spots.

Yep you move up to get someone you think may not be there if you don't. We had draft capital and now we don't and it looks like we made moves cause we could not because it was necessary.

Here is what I think happened: the Chiefs targeted a few solid depth pieces and are limiting the roster spots due to the cap this year. Obviously shedding some picks strategically.
I would rather they trade guys or cut somebody. All totaled I think they got solid contributors while really hamstrung by draft position.

Chiefs fans complaining about the draft makes me smile - ONLY in that at least you have a Super Bowl Champion team to root for and your draft picks are "bonuses" - to me.
This asshole (me) feels the Bears have had a disappointing draft and knows the Bears have zero chance of winning the Super Bowl in the near future.
You guys want to switch places with me?

Let's see what today brings.....

New President - New Gutter. I am going to pledge my allegiance to Donald J. Trump and for the next 4 years I am going to be an even bigger asshole than I already am.

We filling the needs. We still got some picks. WE still need a DT or two. After that RB there are four I like. Then you go where ever DB, WR Ol.

I think we get us a RB. Too bad we do not have that other 4th rounder.

my guess, deuce goes to dallas, denver or kc. i hope the latter. but denver's coach won with sproles being a big contributor at new orleans. and vaughn's father is a cowboys scout.

I like Connor as a depth/ST piece. KC went into this draft filling needs. The remainder are going to be evaluation prospects unless Deuce falls to 166.

We got greedy with some extra picks and position the few drafts. Seeing all these stupid Chiefs mock drafts hurt too. I saw one that was realistic.

Bama LB available.
Draft some random LB from SFA who probably woulda gone undrafted…though I guess he was one of the 30 guys the Chiefs visited.

Coburn is the only guy the Chiefs got at value.
